Wow, 50% qualifies as "makes the world go round"? *chortle* Sorry Prokofy. 50% means its a wash. I was a founder and subsequent subscriber of TSO. The difference between TSO and SL is enormous. I think that TSO is a paper airplane and SL an F-15 when comparing the two. You're going to have to realize that this is not TSO. Nothing like it. People do tend to take things a little more seriously here because we all created it, every one of us even the person that joined a day or two ago. So people are a little more sensitive to "tagging". That's what they called it when I was in TSO by the way. This is not a mindless arcade treadmill of greening up non-stop. People have more at stake here. There's a lot more of a personal connection between us and the world, especially with respect to one's own creations, because they're not some prefab junk like thay gave us in TSO. Hell, the prefab houses here blow away a lot of the buildings in TSO. Think I have pointed this out several times to him Nolan but it will be washed away amid the incoherent babblings of rhetoric he will spew forth to canabilise your commentary. Thus I have as your next point eludes to washed my hands of him. Or better yet as an Elitist Beta Test Love Fest Member as he so notoriously labled anyone that joined before him...have dismissed the naive. This is all kind of pointless. I've been lucky to never end up next to an "ugly" build.
My Tawhaki land was decent, but it was an M plot and my PG store thus never showed up in search unless you selected "Search in Mature areas too". When I moved to Gray (PG), I got a heavenly plot right next to the Plum sandbox. While I occassionally have some ugly things sitting outside my front door, they vanish every 12 hours and that makes me happy. Now if only Ope Rand would log in and set an autoreturn on his/her plot beside me, as *his/her* land is starting to turn into a spawning ground for discarded vehicles and weapon ammunition.  I wish I could just dump a massive prim build on the land and force it to return it and all the other randomly discarded junk sitting on that land in one fell swoop. _____________________

i put lots of trees right at my property line. the taller the bettter, people dont seem to like my trees, they ask me to move them, i refuse, they leave soon after. also my house is on the water and i have plenty of land around me, so no one can get right up my ass.  No. Completely untrue. I bought land near to some of yours in Blue, came over to say hello and was banned with an eject script which forced me to relog. (edited) If you don't want me "up your ass" anymore, my land in Blue is for sale to you - a snip at L$100,000. Otherwise, I'm here to fucking stay, and no mistake. |

From what I've heard when you were talking to her, you were cought scanning her property without even a by your leave when you moved in. Then when she talked to you about you get all upitty about it. I feel she had the perfect right to keep you off the land if for no other reason than that. Keep your scanner to yourself! Also, you came on the land and ignore everybody that comes to talk. Why you felt the need to park on the land is beyond me since you like to inform people that you have a good amount yourself (unless your setting up some kind of scanning device). Shame on you, very anti social. Now you come in here and start saying things that are not true. She is a friend of mine and I was there when you were talking to her. All you did was call her names when she got tired of your antics. Remember, there are two sides of every story. Most of the time in these forums your just hearing the side that's the most vocal. With these 2 the most rude. |

I know several people who've expanded their land holdings by purposefully making their land as ugly, laggy, and just plain retarded as possible, so that neighbors would sell. Mean, but hey, you guys wanted capitalism.  I just bought some first land and spent a lot of time on a build. Someone bought the land next to me and erected the just what you wrote - the ugliest laggiest building you could imagine; his walls are made from waterfalls - *sighs*. |
