You should come hang with us some time in Philly. A few of us have gotten together semi-regularly.

Last time is was Jennyfur, myself, MzFaerie, Ogami, Elwyn, Annamiel, Ghoulie and Artillo. It was a good time... from what I can remember! :-)

Maxx, I'll try to have assembled a small SL army here in Philly to celebrate your triumphant entrance into the city with many a fine ale!

interesting question that i'm sure psychology students have studied since electronic bulletin boards first emerged... does meeting the human behind the avatar affect your relations with the avatar? :-)

Forseti: I'd say it depends. With all SLers I've met in real life (probably about 15 now) we've hit it off pretty darn quickly and not really missed a beat from SL to RL.

What a great idea Maxx!

If your up to it perhaps we could organize a bay area, CA signing, whether it be prior to delivery at LL, or during. I know there is a large Bay area following of SL, and i would be willing to assist in organization, planning, and invitations if your interested. Let me know...I would really like to be involved in this, as well as meet members of hte community from the area, Linden staff, and of course you (the man who actully can outdo my use of Shiny Objects!)

talk to me in world and i can allocate the necessary resources and get to planning!

Cubey - No problem, I'm trying to get a good idea of what the route will be. Looking to take at least 3 weeks off for this, and I'm working out the expenses now.

Jay - thanks for the support, I'll try to figure out what is involved and then give you a more updated timetable when I can.

Thanks for the replies everyone, still working on the trip details, and there's enough time to get it all organized. If the route is too long, then I may have to pick-and-choose some 'centroid' points where it would work best without cutting a lot of people out of the opportunity.

Yep Pen, Me and Urusula and Tatiana (my partner) are in Huntsville, Alabama. That sounds like a wonderful idea and Cessee Hedges and someone else I can't recall is in GA as well near Atlanta, a mere 4 hours for me.

Hey Maxx, if you come through Yellowstone National Park (an awesome place to drive through no matter the reason) you can catch 2/3rds of the remaining Underhills at once, MadameThesp and I are both nearby. (Makes note to self to check where Tweke is.)
