Back in the summer of ’69

Reminds me of when I was young, in the school holidays me and my friend Charles would hang out each day, and plan which girls we were going to ask to the town the next day. We always fancied some girls. We never liked them for too long, a couple of weeks maybe.

But we always had the best plan for getting with them. We'd invite them to the cinema in town. We'd spend ages psyching each other up, then we'd go to the payphone, call round our friends for their number, then ask them 'out'.
