There Vs. Second Life

OMG how i hate to see people leave There for a damn life in second life. There is way way better we have history stuff that happend before avatars set foot on our world. Second Life "shapes the world in to what it is today" oh bla bla bla. We have space and other moons and planets to build on second life has just a small small small round world. We have a how can i say it civilized world second life has no lawa or rules of any kind we have a goverment second life does not. The way avatars look their faces and stuff is way better and guess what you dont need DSL or high speed to play There. Plus second life uses scrips to build thats just damn to hard my god. Oh almost forgot my favorite pic ha ha its funny the pic.

It's evident from your post you don't have the slightest hint about what SL is, or what it contains, or allows you to do. Or even what the point of it is.

So there isn't really any reason for me to discuss it with you.

SL does in fact have a history of what happened before. It was created by the residents. Code isn't cheap or free either, it takes time so you can ignore your wife & kids in SL too.

Second Life is a 3D version of paint shop pro its not a game its a damn building tool who wants to spend their time building and scripting when u could be hover boarding or driving ur buggy around what the hell is so so so special about a building tool its just a money marketing sceam linden labs made it poorly poorly i dont know why u people want to build There is all about friends and partying and having fun u people dont get what the whole point of games like There and SL are TO HAVE FUN u cant have fun in SL its about building not fun dont u people get it oh fuck it just ill suve it all up my dAMN ASS ha ha

now I do understand that building in SL takes time and commitment but when you complete a build you recieve the satisfaction that you have actually accomplished something. I fear that 'There' is much like playing with Lego's but then again Lego's can be fun to most children

No i mean the makers of There have made up stuff that has happend before avatars came to it and started to live there like monkey gods ruled there and built great temples and u can go and see those temples ok get what i am saying

One question you have to ask yourself kool:
Why are you on the SL forums when you cherish your precious There so much? I would think that someone that loves There and hates SL so much would not spend so much time on the SL forums. So please please do us all a favor and go back to paying an arm and a leg at creating the stuff that you believe that you are good at creating and quit wasting our time.

You probably mad it with Theres In-world LEGO BUILD system. As for scripting.. Well, if you had the brain capacity to see what you could do with it, then you'd understand.

You know what i dont have a right to bash ur "world" and u dont have a right to bash ours both worlds are so cool i never said i didnt like SL i just said There was better i am just saying why do u like SL so much IM James Hathor and ask him witch one he likes better and he will say There and ask him why and he will say the same things i have said its all about fun in There in SL its all about building ok ok see what i am saying see my point why cant we all come together and have events in There and SL like a world treaty 2 worlds come together as one i love both worlds and i would never ever leave one for the other i go in both worlds and explor i just think next Buring Life and our next Cell Of New World we could have a special party to represent both worlds and the new found friendship because if this keeps going on a war will break out members of There will join SL just to do bad things in SL and SL members will join There to just do bad things in There dont u people get it this is real life SL and There are real and they are life lines for a lot of people they keep us all going dont u people see what i am asking let us all be friends why bettle each other when we can be friends and know each other SL members can show There members SL and how to enjoy it and There members can show SL member way to enjoy There we can be friends we can stop this battle before it starts dont u all want that dont you why do you all think we hate u and u hate us its not that way we just dont look at both worlds closly if we did i know we would start to love both worlds and we all could be friends not enimes ok thats all i am saying and i am asking u all to give There a try and we will give SL a try a treaty of these 2 worlds can be made before a war breaks out u all have a passion for SL and we have a passion for There but i and all other members of both worlds could have a passion for both let us forme a treaty i hope every member of There and SL sees this a reason not to battle

if you want us to get along why are you insisting There is better? It's simply a choice. People in SL are creative, people in There enjoy the simplicity

Kool, I don't think your fears of a "war" between SL and THERE are grounded in reality. They both have their strong points and have specific things they do really well.
A lot of people who hang out in THERE can't join SL because they would need a better connection, a better computer, or a few more birthdays. I don't think you'll find many people here who want to bash those people because they like that place.
I've tried THERE (briefly) and felt like it was missing a lot of the spontaneity, freedom, and creativity that I was used to in SL, but if you just look at it as a chat program with a few built in games - it is awesome.
I'm curious why it is that you think Second Life is all about scripting and lacks parties, vehicles, games, etc? Many of us who love Second Life don't really know any scripting and haven't bothered to learn. Still, I end up playing with a vehicle or going to a party or Jeopardy or Yatzee, or Darts, or Pool, or Bowling, or Skydiving or riding the rapids on an innertube all the time. And the great thing is that people all around me are making new games, events, and attractions daily.

What i find with playing SL is it is too tooo hard to use i mean the in world building is what makes it hard u have to use scripting to build but with There we use a There program and one call Gmax they are easy to use u start with something in SL u have just room to build upon nothin to work with i like There cause its simple and u build with things and u can make any thing u want with gmax we just dont want to do the stuff u guys do we have stuff already built for use like Fun Zones and Pazes and then building that the makers made in beta i mess up my avatar and mess up other peoples things when i try to build we are very very very very very very very very very passionate about our game or we dont think of it as a game but a life now There is about just a bit no real but SL is far far far from real life if u are going to think of a game as a life u want it to be like real life dont u or i am going crazy see what i am saying and i find the people in SL are i am sorry if this comes out the wrong way but they seem to be out casts could not find friends so they build and build upon a blank world that has not history or futurer There started with 300 people in beta no over 3,203 people are members and about 10 join each week and STAY i see people leaving SL all the time ok and we are working on making a Burning Life in There as well so i hope u all come in world for that it is still in planing but it will work out

I have met amazing people in There and have done stuff i never dreamed of if u give There a try for about 2 months u will know what i am talking about There is not a game but yet a ever expanding life all are welcome but if u are going to leave after the fun has just started dont bother to come i think There is a AOL meets ever quest and SL is a 3D verison of paint shop pro with some color built in i dont see the fun that u talk about u have in SL i have fell in love with some one from There and u cant do that in SL u cant have the amazing things that we do and will do and have done SL will shut down in less then 2 years but i bet There will go on for 5 or 6 years
