Exploit doesnt mean you get financial gain, in this case you're getting attention for it.
but no, I don't walk around naked... but to me, what you're doing is the equivlent to what creepy guys on the subways do.
I just don't find this funny in the least. Perhaps brings up bad memories, I don't know.
Maybe if you'd ever been victimized by something like this you'd understand.

Look above where Taco said he took an upskirt shot of a Linden -- "and she laughed about it." People have been suspended and banned for this previously. Now there's an exhibit? My, my, my.

We ARE talking about AV's here right? Why would anyone buy a vagina for their AV, not wear panties and put on a short skirt unless they wanted to model said vagina? *** Smiles *** **** Sits in Chair **** *****Lights up ciggarette***** ******Crosses Legs******** oops.. all that drahama and I forgot to attach my vagina.

From: Aimee Weber Has it been Linden sanctioned? Any Lindens want to weigh in on this issue? If a Linden tells me I am being an uptight old bitty for advocating consent before displaying these images, I am totally prepared to shut up and eat crow.
-aimee I think this may stem from when I said that the Lindens I showed didn't have a problem with it, Aimee....I certainly didn't mean to imply that it's initially "Linden Sanctioned", and I'm sorry if anyone interpreted my words to mean that. I've heard no official word from the Lindens; I'd be kinda surprised as if I did, it's a bit of a Pandora's box (pun NOT intended).

Reality is I don't think an individual has rights to Trademark his or her Avitar. Therefore I do not see any legal implications only a morale one in regards to views i've seen. As far as Privacy, the Avitar belongs to Linden Labs if I'am correct.

by that token, you are saying that if I do something for me, something that I should have complete control over, and say, forget to wear something under a skirt, I'm "Asking for it" Isn't that the mentality that women get raped over, year after year? To me, there is no fuzzy line here. A persons' body is theirs, and should not for any reason be used in any way without their consent. ..If a woman RL gets a breast enhancment, does that entitle you to touch, photograph, or glare at them? ..No. What someone does to better themselves, in whatever way they choose, is their choice. and in no way 'grants you rights' to exploit it.

Feel free to take shots up my skirt any day. I don't have bits. In all seriousness... if someone is wearing a vagina, a short skirt, and no panties, they're pretty much asking for this result as we all know the many functions of the SL camera. Moral of the story... WEAR BLOOMERS! www.bloomers4u.com-Flip

This is a stale argument. Wearing provokative clothes does not justify rape. Wearing a 2 inch miniskirt DOES justify having everything below your hemline looked at, that's the point of it. If a woman gets a breast enhancement, and walks down the street, anyone is perfectly within their rights (as least in the US) to take a picture of her, it's called being in the 'public'.

I guess not many people see where I'm coming from, but violation is violation in my book You have zero right photographing anything 'personal' on me, or my avatar without my consent.

From: Taco Rubio I think you're confusing your feelings with your rights? It's not my 'right' to presume that my body is mine, and I'm allowed to exist without constant fear of being exploited in some way?..

taco - i think this gallery brings up an interesting question about identity and body in a virtual world. as Art, it's purpose is to provoke and question the limits of our imagination and perceptions. i think this is one of the very very few examples or Art in sl. good job taco.

No Pun intended Mistress, however; your AV is not your body. It is the Property of Linden Labs, if i am incorrect; then your case is justified.

I believe AVs are owned by their creators, much like other in world creations, actually. I also hope all this talk doesn't keep Mistress from getting wild and nekkid! -Flip
