From: someone It's a total mystery why getting an amicable fellow like yourself back into the game isn't Linden Lab's top priority. This might be a job for Skully and Moulder. we need a smilie with milk shooting out its nose so bad. Presidium you are completely right. this has nothing to do with you breaking the TOS and even if it did the treatment you've gotten since then is way worse than all the griefing you did (even tho you didn't mean to). the reason you are banned is simply cause the Lindens don't like you. unfortunately no one else does either.

From: Kayin Zugzwang Then again the community as a whole seems to be anti conflict as they seem to get enough of it in their normal lifes, so maybe it's just me. For me, the amount that is "enough" in both RL and SL is precisely 0%. Why there would ever be a need in a person's life for conflict is beyond my comprehension.

What are you doing on my roof!

From: Ghoti Nyak Such parcel security scripts EXIST and that is exactly what I am complaining about!!!!!!
I get kicked from vehicles all the time flying over land that someone thinks needs to be freakin' Fort Knox.
-Ghoti To make things worse... if you are OVER said property and get ejected from your vehicle.. you land ON the property. Thus.... one setting: for keeping people out... makes them land on your roof. NO setting and they fly over never to bother you. hmmmmmmmm

OOOOooo... now if I HAVE to crash.. that might be fun.
Especially if you land in a "graveyard" of planes, helicopter, and such with skeletons in the pilot seats

Why have damage on my land?
This doesn’t seem all that complicated to me. First off, I have no scripts that kill people who enter my land. However, the reason I leave damage enabled on my land at all time, and have done so since I started playing, is for my own defense. If I am attacked on my own land – and this has happened several times – I can deal with it quickly and get on with life. This is because I have a large advantage. Since it’s my land, any battle is weighed to my advantage because the attacker is sent much further away after death than I am. No matter how bad it gets, I will soon have the time to set up a ban script and/or call the cops. And if the cops don’t come, I can shoot him again.
If I turn damage off, then we are again on equal terms. True, there’s no death, but remember: I wasn’t impacted much by death in the damage-on model. Now, the attacker is ALSO free of that consequence. Now we can push each other around, shout, pummel, abuse, whatever. I have no place to go, since I’m home already, And all I can do is call the cops, if he gives me time to do that.
I’m sure there are those who would argue with me about all this. And I admit that this isn’t the best way to deal with many malcontents. But this is my theory: anyone who tries to attack me on my own land is – in effect – asking to play a game with me called “attack and defend”. I have the option of electing to play any game on my land I like. In fact, that’s one of the reasons for Damage, according to a conversation I had with a long-ago Linden: so that you can play games that allow damage. Such an attacker is simply asking to play a game like that with me on my land. I tend to comply.
Why not? It’s to my advantage.

From: Vince Wolfe It seems that the best solutions should be that you take your chances in damaged enabled land.
I do, however, support having a way for persons to avoid such land. Maybe it should turn a certain color on the overall map (ande mini-map) so you can easily avoid it. I agree with your first point. I too learned what the little heart meant the hard way. But I'm still alive and kicking. Good learning experience. I do not feel we should color code or do anything more then LL has already done.
