Extra grand? Extra 200 dollars, which you're going to pay /anyway/, or more, if you're buying a quality PC as opposed to a cheap Dell.
cheaper to build my own PC than to build my own mac part for part. hell the way apple runs its business where they want you to buy all your hardware from them, they make it so that its more expensive for you to build your own Mac part for part vs. one off their line. From: Finning Widget
