Sitting down to pee sounds like a great idea until you are about six layers deep in winter clothing, the last a flightsuit.

Sitting to pee for some men can cause problems. Some men, myself included, do not extend out much when flaccid. On really cold days it can basically dissapear. A stream started like this will cause your socks to become wet and warm. Therefore you have to push down and in some cases pull out and push down. No big deal but on a few occasions in my life I have cut the inside of my uretha by causing kinks. It hurts and it bleeds. I therefore avoid sitting down to pee if I can.

I have never peed in my sink, I do not want the smell of urine waifting up as I bush my teeth... I guess I'm funny that way.

In my lifetime, yes. Do I do it habitually, no. Maybe once in the last couple of years due to sudden and intense need to go. Not that I am neurotic about it, I just got in the habit of peeing before hopping in the shower.
