I'm at work and can't browse these shops right now. But does anyone know of a good Barrett M95? I'll even take an 82A1/M107, but I think the M95 is sexier.

Heres the thing, I'm not arguing that your site is popular for other reasons, or that even your a good host at your shop. Thats non disputable, the question is are your guns the best bang for the buck?

Answer is: No

You can pick up a harbringer dirt cheap right now and it packs more function into a single piece than well.... any gun in existance.

Desert Eagles, more utilitarian but still, all around better guns for cheaper price. And while someone like Tyrant or Eata may not be in the shop socializing 20 hours a day, what they ARE doing is constantly coding updates for the products they sell.

Initially what started off as equip to unholster/holster has been fully scripted with gesture hotkeys, push has been added and updated, constant little bug fixes, hell I can even choose what speed I want the rounds to come out of the barrel at.....

So no the maker may not hobknob with me, but she does provide me with constant updates.

If ya got such a great product... why all the updates?

I rather spend my time socializing and shooting with happy customers.

Is this guy for real? lol ... you should understand atleast for Exclusive Weapons- there are multiple of the top creators in SL selling there. Most of the stores you mentioned sell very well made weaponry so I'm just confused either what you're posting is for fun or you really mean it. If for fun, than it was kind of a laugh but weird. If you're serious, then a shameless plug because most of these stores sell multiple well known creations there.

Maybe you just create your own weapons and believe they're the best in SL. Well if thats the case, more power to you. You'll do well in SL but with the names you mentioned in your posting- I just can't agree. lol

As you see- I may own my store but I also have respect for those other stores you mentioned because I once was a newbie like everyone else and have bought from them and can honestly say the guns did do what they advertised. So I'm lost. Let us know the type of weapons or gadgets you bought so we can keep an eye out.

I've shopped at Roby's store ... he's very helpful and tries to hook you up with the right product for what you want. Very often in his shop and always willing to answer questions.

O RLY? Guns kill on their own? They load themselves, chamber a round in themselves and go kill people? None of mine have ever done that--they must be defective. Mine just kinda sit there unless I'm using them.

I laughed at that comment, your absolutely right. In the real world we have quality guns that sell for a lot of money and you get every single bang for your buck for that namebrand and the quality behind it, then you have your saturday night specials made for the lower class market they are considered cheap and are the minimum of working, nothing fancy. In this case we have cheap guns that are overpriced. There are many creators on Second Life that put a lot of time and effort into their guns and price them very well who deserve the money.

The only reason these newbies get sucked into buying crap guns is the same reason people go to walmart and see a tv on display and figure because it has a high price tag it's suddenly the best tv around, it's called marketing and ignorance. People don't know what else is available to them and they see the item and instantly want it. The question on many of the junk guns sold in second life is they shouldn't be called a "Desert Eagle" or a "Uzi" when they look like 2 gray bars slapped together.

its called added features, and the updaters built into the gun. The basic features are equivalent to the scripting in your guns, these features have been expanded on in patches.

If it makes ya feel better... I rather make NEW products.. rather than spend countless hours on updating old products... that never really sold in the first place.

Oh her product sells, thats why I see them all over the place, but hey you use the same basic scripts with minor tweaks in your 3 prim guns (orbit 100% kill shieldthru, no options) so if it makes you proud that you can copy and paste then by all means keep patting yourself on the back. Its kinda cute ^.^

Well its not just that, most of the guns I refer to as "Well scripted" can be used as either a club or a stileto

I like my options, sometimes I want to shoot someone without orbit (say for carnage island for instance) sometimes I want to orbit without killing (When I'm in the combat sandbox and someones being obnoxious) sometimes I just want to grab attention and do no damage. Sometimes I want to kill orbit rape and pillage.

I like a gun that gives me all of those options, it shows a care for the product and detailed build far above the norm. And the fact that it costs the same as his? Hell yeah I'm going to be biased towards the better more option rich gun.

Theres a reason why I won't buy novum inc lawgivers, they aren't up to date, they won't crack all of todays shields. The reason I won't buy Carducci is they are overpriced for what you get.

Second... My concept of a gun aint no million options... while you fiddling with options... POW!!! even though I BEEN had guns with options in stock since I opened. Nothing costs more than 1k... even your fancy menu hud having drop down with options & yada yada... & what I charge is my biz anyways.

In a nutshell... I must be doing SOMETHING right... or else you wouldnt even mention my name.
