There are many guns available in sl, not all have weeks of hard scripting work put into them, nor hours of complex weapon modelling. there are trustable vendors in sl still, even people that I myself would purchase a weapon from (not like i need more tho) I myself have never sold a weapon for more then 1k, in fact all of mine on SLE are under 900L!

above all, if you cant buy a gun that you like, make your own! thats where we all started anyways...

You sell sub-standard goods, and yes before you whinge I have been to your shop and its not a hash on any of the other 'large' manufacters.

I specifically joined it because I wanted to track updates for the Baikal shotgun. I'm also on the isle of wyrms update group, I was a part of the Department of Experimental Ordinance group, but left it as it spams often with stupid questions like "How I texture the prim".

I am not white IRL. I understand racism well, and have to deal with bigots and prejudice almost daily.

I personally find that anyone who tosses out claims of racism every time someone looks at them sideways is cheapening real racism. I find "playing the race card" to be offenseive, and it's something I refuse to ever do myself. If a bigot clearly is bigotted...its easy for the world to see in their words and actions. I do not need to point it out.

I agree racism is no joking matter when it's real. But then again, making claims of racism for no apparent reason is just as serious, IMHO.

Besides...I prefer to laugh at racists myself. It infuriates them so much.

Everything has a place in humour, even serious subjects. Often we either laugh about something serious...or we cry about it. Both have their place, and the key is knowing which to do when.

Why don't you IM the creator of the Baikal and the Desert Eagles I use themselves and find out if I'm associated. Oh wait you will just find out that your about as important in the "grand scheme of things" as the lint I just picked out of my belly button.

I have a better idea, why don't you take some of you gains from "Being on top" and go buy a couple of those "Competitors" guns and then after playing with them for a second even try to pretend that the substandard trash you pawn off is up to par.

Lets list the guns/weapons I own and see if I'm biased:

Eata Kitty's DE's - Unnasociated when I bought them, but now novum inc: Good guns, lots of options, scripting is kept up to date with almost weekly updates.

Tyrant Ludds Baikal shotgun: Good gun, shit for longrange though, and I think the slugs shoot low... I could be wrong. Lots of options... scripting kept up to date with almost weekly updates.

Carducci Dual Megs: Bad scripting, ugly model, poor draw script, no ability to turn orbit/damage/push variables on/off and the same cost as previously mentioned guns, click draw which is a PITA if I'm already running in mouselook in preperation.... need I go on?

C-tech assault armor: I'm calling it a gun, medium range of options, updated when needed, also has a lot of flight options, and it looks cool... groovy.

C-tech redemption autos: fair ammount of options, nice model, needs shield breaking however, I think with explosive rounds I can do SOME basic shieldbreaking but thats about it. These are a fungun, not much good in real/shielded combat. I'd love to own an updated set of these.

Orbz (made by DEA): when reading the box they seemed like a lot of fun..... in retrospect it was a waste of money, overcomplicated to use, pain in the ass documentation, effects... easy to turn off, not so easy to turn on. Just a general clusterfuck. Actually it would probably work well if the "How too" manual wasn't all dicked up.

Souls of the Damned (DEA again): These are fun, sure it mimics a lot of stuff Psitec and others do, but hells if it isn't stylish.

Psitec (All modules installed): This is the win button. Period. This is the only single weapon i have on me at all times. There is no arguing, there is no fighting it. It is god. You want a product plug? Here it is. Psitec owns. Now if I could just get Luc to send me money....

Thats what I got, I think I have one other C-tech gun but its not worth mentioning as its a showpiece with the same features as the redemption.

You want a product endorsement from me? You want me to jerk off over your guns? Lower the price to about 600L, then you will be right in the pricerange for the quality you offer. You sell good 500-600L guns. You sell shitty 1200L guns. Any questions?

Dear god this turned into a horrible thread. I didn't want to post here but I need to correct that the Desert Eagle's are Hugo's not mine. I scripted, support and retail them but he made them, it's a pretty informal business parternship. We are also not Novum although we sell alongside Tyrant and he supplied some stuff for the guns.

We're going to have a full brand for the next gun and we're going to rebrand the Eagle's to help.

You didnt answer my questions, they are the things with that funny squiggle '?' after.

The prices for a Carducci gun being thrown around here has been 1200L. That price is for dual guns, i.e., 2 guns. The Gate Keepers, truly an excellent looking and firing gun and all the gun anyone will ever need on Sl is an exception and sells for 1500L for one when I last looked.
