I have tried to login for the past couple of weeks to no avail. I've tried e-mailing several Lindens and they are not replying. Under my account info it says:

If I did anything wrong in SL recently and/or in the past I would be more then happy to right the wrongs monetarily, physically or emotionally.
If anything, I would at least like to log in to say goodbye/thanx and pay L$ to people for helping me with the game I created "Boogie".
Anyhoo, if for some reason there is no hope for me returning to the world of SL, I would like to say thank-you to all of those people that have been so great to me.
I am really glad that I was able to meet such fantastic people and be part of so many cool projects during my time in SL.

Hopefully he gets back to me before the account is deleted permanently on Septembe 15, 2006. Looks like it was an alternate account situation.
I am assuming that it has to do with an account I had over a year ago where I created a LSL listening script that LL didn't like too much (I was able to listen on channels that some casino games were using). I used the script a couple times before closing my account - kinda like a going out with a bang thing (I was leaving anyway because my g/f was ticked that I was online so often lol). I never intended to hurt anyone or cause any lasting trouble. Over a year later (after a break with the g/f  ) I decided to give SL another try.Like I mentioned, I hope they give me the opportunity to right the wrong. I never got an e-mail or anything from them before either so I assumed no one was bothered too greatly. _____________________

Using a listening script by itself will not get you banned. It is how you use it and what you do with the information that can get you in to trouble.
I use a remote listening device to improve frame rates at crowded auctions. It is shaped like an ear and the float text clearly says it's a listening device and displays my name. |

In Hox's defense, he is an amazing game designer - I have never enjoyed playing any SL game as much as Boogie. I hope he gets things resolved - and it is outrageous not to be able to easily find out why your account is closed.

They link alts now via IP or hardware... whatever it is... they use to do it by credit card and people got away with it... so if an alt was banned, the main would get banned on his next billing cycle, thats what happen to some chic (forgot her name) was banned cus her brother was banned 2 yrs ago *shrugs* _____________________

I gave them extra info, such as transaction logs and the person admitting they did it on purpose in an IM. I never recieved my money back, and the person is still in-world. _____________________

I hope he gets things resolved - and it is outrageous not to be able to easily find out why your account is closed. Linden Lab are quite quick to dish out these things but to try and even find out what you did, let alone resolve it, is an endless nightmare of ignored emails. The email you're asked to contact is never replied to, and despite asking three senior (and directly responsible) Lindens directly in-world to explain and provide proof of their accusations, I was even told by one of them that they didn't have the evidence any more. It is incidents like this - where slaps and warnings are given out with no reason, no explanation, and no recourse when challenged, that cause me to lose faith in Linden Lab's ability to successfully manage their world. After all, if they can't provide proof, how can they be expected to be taken seriously? Whether they like it or not, they are 'the Police' in SL, and have an obligation to keep records of disciplinary action properly. If a black mark is on my record, I expect to be able to have access to read that information at a convenient time - if they can lose the evidence, why can't they lose the black mark?
