How many enemies do you have?

i have one enemy , but she has a couple of alts.

I have .5 of one then! Why only .5? I want to give them a second chance.

I would say that I don't have any enemies, however I do have one or two people whom I really don't like at all that go beyond just annoying me and while I don't consider them enemies, I would rather not be around them or deal with them at all.
Otherwise, a great many people annoy me for one reason or another, but I do not consider them to be enemies by any means.

UPDATE: I just made a lot of enemies. After swelling egos and blatant rudeness continued for a long time, I called them out on it, politely, and I was rejected.

After ignoring me for two days straight, I contacted one of them and told this person it was a pretty crappy (alternate word ) thing to do to ignore IM's, and that this person could have just answered me and told me he/she was busy, and I would have gladly left them alone.

This person took massive offense at that, stopped offering his/her services to me, ejected me from the land, sent me an IM saying I was an asshole, and then severed the future financial and commission work we had planned.

They somehow felt I was the one at fault, which I cannot see in any way. If I am, then I apologize.

I guess the culture I come from has a lower tolerance for blatant rudeness than your's, my friend. I really did respect you, too.

Which, by the way, extremely disappoints and frustrates me.

If you haven't made a few enemies along the way, I dare say you aren't doing something right. I have certainly made some colorful ones along the way. Standing up for what you believe is right, and standing up for others will always make you a target, and make enemies.

I don't buy this nonsense that only other people decide they are your enemies - that very typically removes responsibility of ones own actions in developing enemies. Yes, some people will just be your enemy for no other reason than because they don't like you, or because of who you are. However, people often make enemies through their own actions as well, and denying that responsibility is part of the reason said people make enemies in the first place.

I have only one person on my ingore listing. An insulting, condensending, two faced pain the the hind quarters. This person probally does not have a clue.

I might have a couple of people more that do not like me for cause. I will not go out of my way to score points on the foe but will defend myself from aggresion. Hopefully will not encounter this one person. I will not do business with this person and it can not enter any lands under my control.

I don't have anyone I consider an enemy in SL. I DO have a few people who have relegated themselves to "max ignore" based on their actions and an unwillingness to come to a "meeting of the minds", but no one who has maged to make me actually despise them. That may make me an oddity, but I kinda have a strange world-view.

I look at it like this; I try not to give other people the power to mess with my personal serenity If someone disapproves of my (alternative) lifestyle, my beliefs or my friends - I figure that they are entitled to their opinion even if I disagree with it. If they take it beyond that point; then I politely drop them from my personal radar screen. If they persist, then I figure that they do themselves more harm then they do me in the long run.

All of us have our own opinions about issues great and small. All of us see ourselves as good people with good reasons for feeling as we do. I try to respect that when dealing with "difficult" residents, and I hope that occasionally that courtesy has been extended to me (mostly by my Partner, Rejeanne).

And if all else fails - I have a ANNOYING "Barney Song" clip that I play until the griefer departs in disgust

I find that type of claim to be pretentious.

This might be considered to violate rules against cruel and unusual punishment.

The reason I ask this question has to do with working within large groups, in particular the complex permutations invovled with large groups. Has anybody found that it becomes difficult to form and maintain large groups when everybody seems to be enemies with everybody else? "I refuse to work with them" etc...

To be honest, the relatively low number enemies most of you have is rather uplifting!

Your enemies are instruments to your destiny. To call someone an enemy is to consider him an equal. Pick your enemies as you do your friends. Having an 'enemy' who is 'smaller' than you reflects badly on you.

Hence I have no real enemies. Only people I dislike.

I don't have any enemies i treat every one with respect and if i don't get it in return i just don't bother wit that person.

but i do find that treat every one with respect even those you may not agree with or those you may not like can go along way in not letting some one become an enemy.
i am 40 years old in real life and have no enemies and don't intend to have any when i die.
the key word here is RESPECT treat others with respect and you shall receive it most times.
not having enemies is not an easy thing it takes alot to be able to treat even people you may not like with respect but the rewards are plenty.

Actually I don't know how many enemies I have - thats up to other ppl really - they get to decide if they are enemies or not.

How many people am I an enemy to? Probably none - thats more effort and energy than I'm willing to expend on internet folk. Anyone who thinks that I am is suffering from delusions of adequacy.

If I don't like someone or think they're a tard - I just avoid them - or occasionally tell them to f*ck off if they track me down. Going out of my way to screw with them? Not worth the time or trouble (unless theres a jolly good laugh in it and its not gonna take time away from things I enjoy doing).

Generally I hang with the people I want and really don't spend that much thought on anyone else... After all, I'm here to enjoy myself not create useless drama and aggravation for myself.

I have only one enemy. Zombies. Of course, they are a collective One, really. A Zombie is a zombie is a zombie. ..But thinking on it further.. given how much enjoyment I get from destroying them in varied and entertaining ways.. they're really more like friends!
