I don't care about it that much, as I figure it is that person's problem, but neither does it mean I'm going to define them as "not my enemy" when they are clearly defining themselves as "my enemy" and plan to, and may have even stated plans to, effect my demise in small or entire ways. Oh yes offcourse.  But it's still you who makes the choice. _____________________

I have no enemies. Oh there are some ne'er do wells who sense my power, and they seek my life essence. I do not avoid them, no... though I, I do deny them my essense.
And, well, there's this one guy... He seems to think he's some kind of arch-nemesis or something. Kinda weird, I mean I sortof remember him being at my college, but I couldn't have said more than two words to him...  _____________________

I have a few people on mute. I have a few people that I won't deal with because I dislike the way they treat me or someone I know. I only have one enemy though, and she is my enemy because she attempted to cause problems for Phoenix and I out of her own need for drama. She could have just joined her local acting company instead.

I don't have any real enemiws in SL, no Arch Enemies at least. There are some people I'm on bad terms with, and people that I'll shoot on sight.
I also don't have any stalkers either. |

I don not have enemies I have marks on a virtual chalkboard though, if you want enemies in SL just upload an amped up .wav of nails on said chalk board

It's good to have 2-4 enemies. If you don't have any, then you are obviously too complacent and not a "stand up guy/girl". If you have too many, then you are obviously an asshole.
I try and offend at least one person a week. Most shrug it off, but following my current plan, I can achieve 7-10 enemies a year, but due to attrition, only 2-4 of those stick around to hate me. I also take no further actions against enemies and treat them with politieness, or in extreme cases, ignore them completely. This puts me on the "higher ground" even if it was my fault to begin with. _____________________

At the moment, probably 2 people unrelated to each other. They are people who, no matter what I really am, cannot see me for the projection screen in front of their eyes. Want to make an enemy of me? Easy - doubt my word, my integrity, my honesty and my sincerity. Doubt my kindness, and malign me. Sooner or later I'll give up trying to be your friend.

Well, considering that the word 'enemy' means literally 'not friend' (e.g.: in amicus), I'd say I have quite a few overall in life. I do not make a distinction upon where they are found, except perhaps to take a moment to chuckle that some folks will go out of their way to be in amicius as if they have or would have had any space in which to be otherwise.
Fortunately, others do not choose if you are their friend. You do. _____________________

There have been several people who've ticked me off -- yesterday some idiot on Sandbox Island rezzed a structure right on top of me and instead of having the decency to simply say "sorry" (as has been a long-standing piece of sandbox etiquette) decided to be a jerkwad about it -- but I just mute 'em and move on. I've never filed an abuse report and I never gave nor got a zero negrate back when they were around, and so far I've yet to have anyone actively snipe at me for a protracted period of time. So maybe I'm lucky, but I'm calling it a zero so far.
FWIW, I liked the earlier comment someone made to the effect that "in SL you don't have enemies -- your enemies have you". I think that in SL (and in life) it's often the case that your "enemies" are the ones who are suffering the inconvenience, the paranoia, the sleepless nights, over you. Jess |
