No...you have it ass backwards. The people who PAY the escorts are the ones with no life. And from what I have heard, escorts make good money, so I doubt they are broke as you imply either. Actually I disagree with this entirely. I think that whatever people want to do is what they want to do and doesn't indicate any real lack of a life. I mean once you start putting people into boxes in SL..you can't really stop. So if you think prostitutes and Johns/Janes have no life...well then you start having to draw even larger and larger assumptions. Suddenly Furries have no lives, Goreans, Age Players, RobotMechaNekoSchoolGirls...the works. Eventually you pigeon hole everyone, and suddenly you're distinctly sure that you, and only you...have a life. And thats a pretty narrow world view imho. Second Life intimacy can be fun. I see no problem with it..and whatever jerks someones chain is a-okay as far as I'm concerned. Its SECOND LIFE. Maybe someones a prostitute cause they find it exciting and interesting and its something they'd never do in their real life. Maybe someones paying those prostitutes cause they like to have new and interesting sexual experiences and wouldn't dream of acting out some of their basest fantasies in real life or with someone they know. Not saying you can't draw your own assumptions...I have a couple of assumptions drawn myself..though they only apply to pedophiles. Other than that....the world (the digital one) is your oyster....crack it open and eat whatevers inside it. Also, in closing, I don't think theres anything inherently wrong with "not having a life" and having your life in Second Life...its not like the real world and real life has much to recommend it anyways. So I never quite understood what this whole "having a life" argument was about....you mean that people should have mortgages and crappy jobs and bills and divorces and diseases and wars and depressions and all that stuff that comes with having a real life? Hell, there is even a group or two in sl that are set up for no other reason than random sex. Basically you just show up at their skybox and someone will do you.
While I am at it, why does anyone pay strippers in sl? If you want to see a naked female av, just use your own. Most escorts and strippers in sl are guys in rl anyway. _____________________

It's about roleplay *gasp* Anyone can slap some stuff on an AV and then undress it, very few can play out multiple sexual fantasies well. Not saying though that all escorts are good at this but they usually have more experience You got the good and the bad but a good escort never has quiet night. |

No. There are also escorts that you could take along for a dinner, or business meeting without having sex. Ladies with class some would say. That would not make them prostitutes. |
