um...
Security scripts should NOT use llPushObject. Period. Feel free to use the Abuse Reporter in cases like this. They were talking about teleport home, not llPushObject. I still don't see where teleporting someone to thier home without warning from your own land constitutes abuse. |

He said "Period". Why do you want more than that?

Errrgh...I wasn't responding to this because I didn't want people's feelings bruised. I was hoping somebody with more authority would answer, but apparently not. So...I don't know if it's right. Apparently, nobody does...But like I said, I write my own security scripts. Back in the days before linden bars actually did anything, they could get very aggressive while I was trying to concentrate...I.E.: Teleport home without warning It was a Linden who (very politely) asked me to please tone it down and told me what a reasonable amount of time was. I don't even remember which Linden it was, if the advice was specific to the situation, or if the specific policy has changed. Is there any way we can have somebody with more authority answer this question? |

HAHAH! I was wandering through Wiki, looking at the LSL manual when I found an entry about security systems that reported the same thing I observed:
http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=LlEjectFromLand I'm NOT the only one Lindens talked to about this! WOOHOO! *fuzzytaildance* Not that I mind Lindens asking, of course. I HATE IT when I'm wandering past and suddenly I'm sitting in the water. Don't I even get a cool klaxon and flashing *MISSILE LOCK* warning before I'm blasted out of the air? Yeesh! |
