Hey all,

First off if you are a back stabbing, head game player, multiple avatar user, not a real woman, drama queen, or not English speaking, read no further.

Sometimes Second Life can be cruel, and this is what prompted me to write this.

A very good friend of mine has been destroyed by this game, and its saddening to me because he is about the best guy in the world.

Briefly the low down:

He met this woman in her early forties, he is in his late 30's, is a british aussie living in America. She had been ditched by her longtime SL boyfriend and my friend, let's call him William, helped her through the pain. They ended up becoming close but then she got back together with her boyfriend and he was left out in the cold. Instead of date one guy though, this woman went and created a new avatar and befriended William. Things progressed and he asked her to marry him. She wanted kids, something her first SL boyfriend would not give her, so William, thinking he found a new and wonderful girlfriend went ahead and purchased a 1/4 sim island, bought a mansion and stocked it full of a toys and cribs for twins after she said she wanted 10 kids haha Their wedding was planned and then he found out that his fiance was indeed the woman that broke his heart. She is still seeing the first boyfriend on her main avatar and doesn't give William the time of day he deserves and it has crushed him that he has to look at her online with boyfriend #1 when he has devoted so much of himself to her and having kids.

Yea, this kind of shit isn't by any means rare in SL, but this woman is playing him like a fiddle and this isn't a dumb guy who is oblivious. When he called her on it she got very angry with him and started verbally abusing him and making threats that she would call whole thing off if he persisted in making her choose between boyfriends.

Me and my girlfriends, who think so highly of William have decided we want to find him a nice and good woman. I considered mothering his kids myself as he has one hell of a sexy av and there is no shortage of women wanting him...not the right type of women though ya know, but I have 4 kids in real life and my friend has two toddlers and we have no inclination to become a mother in SL. So I was thinking that there must be women out there, wholesome and normal women that are looking for the same thing. I know William recently lost his 3 year old son in a custody battle and he told me that looking at the empty nursery is torture on him, even if it is second life.

He hangs around a few of us women who are all close friends so we want him to have someone like us, that is nice and normal, doesn't pull all the drama that let's call her Lynn does. We won't tell him we found you this way, but will give you his screen name after you are screened by us lol You will also get some very nice female friends in this package, who are friendly and nice and who will be your loyal friend through thick and thin. We feel bad because one of us is the person who introduced William to this liar of a woman :( She was our friend, but we all knew she was a drama queen and tried to tell William not to get involved with her after we all spent 3 months listening to her complain about boyfriend #1, but the heart wants what the hearts wants, right?

Please contact Jadziadax Destiny, or Larisa Beresford in world if you are really seeking a good man to have a family with in SL. Larisa will be out of town this week but you can contact me for a quick chat. We are not the same person! I hate people that play games with peoples heads like that. Striking out with a man or woman on one avatar and then making another and pursuing them again is so so wrong, so we need someone English speaking preferably on eastern standard time two or three evenings a week for an hour or two. I know this is what he wants because he was distraught when his fiance told him she works nights and sleeps days (is a lie) but wants to marry and have kids. Someone in their 30's or 40's that is intelligent and funloving and won't hurt our dear friend. NO DRAMA QUEENS PLEASE!

We all want this woman out of his life. They broke it off but I know William is going to go back to her because he had grown so used to the idea of marriage and kids in SL, and this woman is just playing him so bad and wants to keep him away from his friends.

I vote this for the best drama thread of the day :)

Oh you ask for a guy 2 or 3 nights a week, English speaking and on EST, how much is the going rate for one of these?

Ah, if only I were interested in prim babies and didn't live in the Mountain time zone...

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I wonder if they tried one of those mail order brides. Or find a newb and fix her up for him.

Sorry, but that part made me laugh :D

I'm not so sure that she did anything wrong. Some people leave RL out of SL completely, and different avs have seperate lives. Others deal with the person at the keyboard, and the other person using a different av in that way doesn't fit well. I'm one of the latter.

And it will be his fault if he goes back. A marriage and kids in SL? Isn't real life more important? If not, then I'm not taking the right drugs. Can someone sen dme the right drugs?

RL always trumps SL; that said, a good SL family is as precious as gold.

I have someone I think that might fit the bill. She is on mountain time zone. I will im you when I sign on this evening. In fact, she will be a bridesmaid at my wedding this coming Sunday. Perhaps you and William can come and he can meet her that way.

I have known her for a year and she has endured her share of sl heartaches. Last I checked she is not dating anyone. Perhaps this icould turn out to be a love connection.

...which doesn't address the prim baby issue at all.

Who would have thought it? Rejected for my disinterest in family RP. *sigh*

It's all Des' fault. If he would have only owned up to his responsiblities...

in the words of the joker... why so serious?!?

this type of drama sounds like a typical sl story mentioned on somethingawful or totse
imo have your friend seek therapy so they can seperate reality from fantasy. it's just a game.

"No drama queens"? Oh, come ON, Jadzia honey...you post the biggest, longest, most drama-filled story of the week...you and your friends and William's love(s) read like the biggest bunch of Drama addicts this side of the daytime soaps...and you want "no drama queens"? Get real.

If you just HAVE to poke your nose into William's business, just tell him flat out that he ought to dump both versions of his girlfriend. Leave the decision, and finding any follow-on girlfriend, up to William. Contrary to the opinions of many, men ARE capable of managing their own lives...they don't ALWAYS have to be led around by the...ahem.

I think it's time for this whole triangle, rectangle, quadrangle, or just plain tangle, to get more of a RL. "Wow!", is all I can say.

Hang on a second...does this really work?

Where does a feller get in line? ;)

Call me crazy, but posting a "my friend is desperate" add here in RA is just asking for trouble. For him, and y'all.
