For those of you who can't think straight and/or don't understand the question(s)... There is option 3 for you. Option 3 seems to suggest that anyone who doesn't feel strongly either way must have something wrong with their thought processes. Perhaps, though, we're just willing to take a 'wait and see' stance for now...there's no option for that. _____________________

If, on the offchance, you're refering to the multiple network issues of the last week, then I vote for choice #5. That is to deal with it. Things break and at least this time Ian Linden took the time to explain in detail what happend. I respect that, and appreciate the information, and finally having LL talk to us like adults. Do I still think SL management has a ways to go to improve? Oh hell yeah! Directive and communication need enhanced big time. The actual techs fixing it? Nope. They're doing a grat job keeping the gerbils running. They're on a busted ISP due to the provider dropping the ball and we still have the Grid up, even if it's lag-spiking badly at times in certain sims. Now, unless you really want to make yourself look like a fool, try asking what you wanted to discuss, or say what you wanted to say. If not, have some pie. ~Jessy _____________________

Sure there have been a few glitches with the servers, but those are to be expected. I have only lost one item out of my inventory. I am still having fun and meeting interesting people. I am still being entertained by my friends and I hope still entertaining them. SL pretty much does what I ask it to do. _____________________

It's hard for me to believe that you don't understand what I am referring to, it's the overall experience, it's everything, may issues, there are too many to name, and I really though that most people would understand that. I didn't mean to be funny with you, and though that you were having a go at me. My SL experience is all screwed up, because of many issues that only Linden Labs can fix. Even the money "open buy/sell order" it's a scam, I have been watching it for three days now, I don't want to go into much details but I know what I am talking about. Too many issues lately, there are many people I know that feel the same, most of them don't even bother posting in this forum, and you know what, they are right, it's a waste of time. I showed and explain how SL worked to someone in RL since I joined, this person cannot believe how things have turned lately, AR, Ticket "support", rezing, money, sabotage, grieffers, loss of inventory, and I am skipping some to make it short. _____________________

Kinda echoing Jessica's sentiment about the blog post: Now hopeful that the devs will soon get to the bottom of that stalled query restart thing, and that could fix a lot of ugly stuff that's happened for a long, long time when the grid gets busy. In my experience, chronic, intermittent bugs are often the hardest to find, till there's a good crisis--like a network failure--to make them obvious and repeatable.
Plus, the g'dd'mned casinos are banned. And the Ginko bubble burst, so we don't have that hanging over our heads anymore. And maybe LL will show positive cash-flow for the quarter, keeping SL alive for continued creative enjoyment of the residents. /me puts on the soundtrack to Candide and hums along with Dr. Pangloss. |

I would like to know how many actual replies on this thread have been on the previous list of ignored users and the previous threads.
