The good colo's have diesel generators that can run for 24 hours or more, depending on fuel. The one's SL uses are powered by hippos.

If my company was taken out by a power outage, we wouldn't be in business when it came back up. We have generators hooked into the main natural gas supply which can power us indefinitely (albeit with unnecessary equipment shut down) in the case of a sustained power outage.

Just got back on but have been Ruthed. Can not delete anything and there is nothing in my folders in inventory. It does not even show things downloading like normal

A friend that works a couple of blocks down for the corporate office said there are a bunch of power outages up and down their area and that the power keeps going on and off. this might be part of the problem since it seems some people can get in and others can't.

LL didn't take SL down, there was a power outtage in San Franciso this afternoon and PGE does not know why. I would guess omething to do with the rains and earlier outtage maybe? Anyway, keep your fingers crossed the power co. manages to fix it. California sure has problems with electricity for some reason.
