SL has never ran so bad before in all my time of SL ugh.
Friends list is broken again
Logging out of the system is taking up to 5 minutes for some residents
Prims are shifting all over the place
Linked objects are moving when touched
Transactions up to a 60 second delay
The account and billing parts of the website won't load most of the time
Lindex is unstable
After teleporting, another teleport starts but takes you no where, and if you cancel it you can no longer move until you relog
Clothing can not be made via the appearance menu
Objects are taking up to 60 seconds to rez and/or delete
Group IM's STILL broke

Why is there nothing mentioned in the blog?
Feel free to add to this list, I know there is more but damn, I can only think of so much at one time lol

textures are not working when you try to edit an object (or create an object) - not refering to clothing.

This one I encountered once before the last update, only once or twice but still. It was so infrequent though I did not think to report it and never in Linden developed areas so I just figured it was a glitch to do with how the location was created.

Yes I noticed. Can't check at the moment, but this worries me for my planned activities tonight. :(

Some sims are having problems with accepting changes to avatars, too. Prim attachments are taking longer to rezz in those same sims. Also, even my home sim is having hit or miss object rezzing.

Let me guess, the weekend is here already?!

I'll have to see if I can get in SL tonight. I didn't have any problems, yet, with the Map. Doesn't mean I won't, or don't.

Okay, here is one that I filed the bug report on a while ago:

1. Open Map.
2. Make sure Land for Sale is checked.
3. Click on any $ marker on the Map to get the sale info.
4. Scroll down on My Landmarks and select a landmark, but don't teleport there. The result is the landmark will show on the map, PLUS it will also show the sqm and sale price from step 3 above. Until you click on some area on the map, that is not for sale, the sqm and sale price will show up. Even click on the Clear button does not stop it!

IF you think that is bad ...........

They took away ONLINE hell-p.................

IF you think that is bad

They have NOW discontinued the phoneline hell-p

YES it is true! now the only way to contact LL is by sending a message to them

Try dialing the phone number it tells you it is discontinued

Look for the help page the phone numbers have been removed

This has got to be a bad sign, best start to watch the share index?

Log In Problems
05-24-2007 15:47
I am also having major problems. I cannot get on at all on my main avi. I get the cannot connect to a simulator message every time-and I have tried to log in at various sims and get the same message. I have a alt to use to work and build and she can get in game fine but she lands high in a sky box so I'm not sure if this is why I can get one avi in and not the other. My main avi lands on normal sim ground. Ughhhhhhh I am tired of postpoing events due to nonstop game problems.

Clothing sort of works if you wear an item, creating from new is a no no. Although I did have an issue with my pants acting like underpants but that seems ok now.

I was most perturbed when I logged in and discovered I'd grown a rather impressive pair of boobs but logging out and back in rectified that little issue.

Another one for ya...

I have one to add, probably wont bother most people, depends if you use the feature or not i guess.

Usually, i can IM someone, they can receive in their email at work and reply via email to me in game ..... they are getting my messages and im not getting theirs.... highly frustrating.......... this stopped working early this week, however it worked on the night of the update, but not again since.

Any ideas?

Once more LL shows an inablity to put in an update without screwingup things that had been fixed in the past. They must have absolutely no concept of version control, either that or they just have a low level of competency.

Ok guys, I've played City of Heroes, I still play World of Warcraft and obviously recently moved in here. One common thing is that big updates bugger things up. I've seen the same kinds of complaints on the City of Heroes and World of Warcraft sites.

The problem generally is that beta testing isn't wide enough, so all those extra variables manifest themselves when an update goes live.

I know there are differences here because people are running businesses but now and then you just need to take a deep breath and put forth the bugs you find rationally. If we all get overexcited and heated the messages we're conveying will get lost.

Ciran, you haven't been here long enough to know that this kind of thing happens with regularity, especially on weekends, updates just make it worse. And they roll out updates all the time. Including on fridays and then leave for the weekend.

This isn't WoW. Not even close, lol.
