Not to be an apologist for the Lindens, but I think they would have cleared it up by now if not for the update and associated problems.

yes Giannia, the problem predates the latest update.
I just tried to call LL again, I was told that there was a wait of 8-10 minutes, after being on hold 10 minutes thinking I am finally going to get a live person, the automated system told me to leave a voice ticket. So I started to do that. (AGAIN). Except this time, the automated system hung up on me. HILARIOUS!!!!!!! Second Life is so much fun! |

I know that your problem started before the update was implimented, but not before it was supposed to happen. Clearly, all the techies were already working on the update before this problem, and now they are too beseiged to deal with a problem for one person, as opposed to all the problems that effect numerous people.

Customer support and the people who do the updates should be separate so that updates do not affect customer service support requests.
e-mail Cyn like steve suggested and then also e-mail [email]torley@lindenlab.com[/email] Torley may be able to help also. Thanks for keeping us updated. I really had hoped to see justice this time. I'm really starting to hate what SL is turning into. Proof that more is not better. |

I am happy I got my $L back and thank everyone who helped me and gave me moral support.
However, if someone new to SL asked me what I thought of it and if I recommend it, especially as a paying customer, I would probably give a different answer today than I would have before all this happened. I still subscribe to the idea that LL customer service is not what it should be for a company. |
