@Desmond: You might be a "land baron", but you're also a very nice person and the one time I had some trouble buying something you gave it to me as a gift...so only pop corn, but no ARs from me!

*sighs*

Somebody please call the damned short bus for this broad....

"I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused..."

L$10 to anybody who can name the song that line is from :)

And Dear Tracy, next time please tell me so I can be here when the hilarity ensues...I missed it today! Rats!

Red Shoes. Can I have my l$10 now.

/me yawns, curls up, and goes back to sleep in her corner.

actually since LL is based in the US the users are responsible for the stuff they post. it's a wonderful system.

Hmmm. Interesting. How could an SL user could possibly be sued for libel when SL accounts are anonymous? It seems to me that the same logic would be applied to an anonymous forum where users have aliases in the form of user names as would be applied to say a magazine or newspaper - meaning that the publisher would still bear the brunt of any legal challenge.

That's how I interpretted it. Again, given that it would be impossible to sue an SL user, with the exception of premium accounts (which, lets face it, are in the minority).

Just interested to know how someone could be sued when they are posting under an anonymous pseudonym. Your reply confuses me :/

Second life and whom are we trusting? That sounds like a question. I'll ignore the rest of the OPs rant and address the initial question, As my buddy Yau Man Chan ( who should have won the last Survivor) stated, as his credo of life....
" Love many, trust few, do wrong to none."
I agree with that philosophy. Especially the 'trust few' part. Now what the hells this got to
do with caramel corn, red shoes, and all this other whacked out shit? Wheres the guy who comes in here and slams the door when all the people with the 'RAGE VIRUS' come storming up the front walk. Strifes at the mall again?

When Dreamz screwed over Yau Man, I decided the human race was doomed. Bring on the next Ice Age.

The fact of the matter is.... SL will be sold sooner or later to somebody big like Yahoo, Google or who knows who else. To be honest I can not wait for the day. SL is in need of fresh eyes looking at it to get some things fixed.

We are a lot like my cats when they've caught themselves a grasshopper. Initially, while the grasshopper is still pretty active, they go after him in a pack and torment him mercilessly. By the next day when he makes only a feeble move once in a while, they show far less interest except to walk by and swat at him occasionally.

Ahhhh... forgot that. *watches kitten mercilessly stalk her blanket tassel* Yeah, I can definitely see that being a good point. It probably doesn't help that SL is also for the most part functional, does it?

Ive always refered to it as 'Mop and Glo butter substitute. And when ordering corn at the movies always request they lay in on heavy and do the 'half a bag' trick.

That miserable punk is getting half empty big gulp cups tossed at him every time he walks the street. You dont go on nationwide tv and state that your a man of honor and want your child to see what a real MAN you are, and then go back on your word and screw somebody who trusted you. Folks on the street who recognise you from that show may not be very appreciative of it. Now is this where the mod comes in and SMOKES THIS THREAD????

There's trubble (and Strife) at Mill !
06-17-2007 15:11
I was out enjoying SL last night again.
I saw Strife dancing at an art gallery. - Not as an art installation but as yer average normal avatar. Dancing using more than two legs (-- AND more than three!!! , I should perhaps add!)

Is this thread really worthy of dragging an avvie away from art?
