Okies... here is updated Enchanted Advert.. Opinions please before I waste another upload fee I like it, lot less cluttered, I can see at a glance what the item for sale is and how it reacts on an avatar (to a degree) others may prefer something else the thing I find is try to get something that balances well so that the masses will not be turned away (now to just find that that is) _____________________

Opinions please before I waste another upload fee Amar, i think the white background is too plain. do you have the beige-y background that's used in your logos available? use it, but fade it so it's very very light... just to remove the stark white, and also link in your logo, without actually using the logo. maybe even darken the edges just a tad with even another layer. try that and repost? |

I am going to post my following question in Texturing- but wanted to give you guys a heads up- I use Gimp and my old and loved MGI Photosuite for the adverts- but had a problem placing things just right with Gimp and MGI losses quality in the final rendering.. so- I downloaded another great freebie Paint.net - it so rocks! Wanted to share that with y'all. Thing I need to figure out there and then I will be free of MGI - is the Text thing- I found the Add Text Tool- but the text doesn't show... /me scratches head...

Amar, i think the whiut background is too plain. do you have the beige-y background that's used in your logos available? use it, but fade it so it's very very light... just to remove the stark white, and also link in your logo, without actually using the logo. try that and repost? OK- I like the using the beige background suggestion- I too found white a tad cold- but explain "link in your logo", please. i mean, use the beige background that your logo has, but don't actually use the logo. jsut the beige background part of it. and fade it so it's really light. link in your logo -- meaning, tying the background in to the logo. |

Paint.net rocks. I use a combination of it and the Gimp (because I like to be as inefficient as possible
 ) bouncing back and forth between the two. Wish I could help out with the text problem, but I'm not sure. Amar - I like the new ad. (edit: yeah, the beige or a gradient to warm up the backgroun might be nice, but I think you are on the right track.)_____________________

aer you using white text on a white background? is your text super huge? both of those will offer a supposed invisible text. The text was black when i first tried it and set at 12 - then i set it at 20 and still nothing... so i ended up on MGI cause it is so bloody simple to use I cant tell you- sadly it doesn't support the formats we need and does not add alpha channels. As for the background- i am still unsure I understand what you mean by link- but I will check if I have the file on G-mail- Rha made that great logo for me and sent me all the files so it should be there. As for the background- i am still unsure I understand what you mean by link- but I will check if I have the file on G-mail- Rha made that great logo for me and sent me all the files so it should be there. I think by "link" she just means visually tie back to, or relate for visual continuity. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong 3ring. _____________________

heheh no worries on the refund, was my mistake but really no probs. yeah you cant sell on flicker, but you can put up your ad work and poses and such, i love flicker i have let it go the last few weeks, just not enough time in the day to get everything done that i want to. Go to my flicker page and add me to your page and i will send you the invite to the group. I know what you mean about joining them up again in sl, the poses that is. It took me weeks to get all the poses in my love beds perfectly aligned and looking good. Hehe, least it wasn't an expensive one  Mk.. Now to see if I can remember how to find stuff on that site! I love looking at photos, gives me alot of new ideas for even my own. It's gonna be fun tryin to make cuddle animations.. There's SO many out there but I got this really cool idea last night for one. Dunno if it's unique, but will be fun! |
