The bald base I wear under the hair is dark like that. if you want, trout, i can send you a bald base with no "hair" showing at all. tho i just discovered that the eyebrow settings are contained in the "hair". btw ... is there a name for this non-prim, omg-you-have-newbie hair? |

Egon, Troutsie, you're so cute. Eyebrow settings (such as degree of arch and vertical position) are in the bald cap, not the hair.
Also, having one good set of non-prim hair (i've seen it called "avatar hair"  can be very useful for laggy situations like big meetings. Robin Sojourner has wonderful such - look at her picks. |

edit> it's been so long since i've had non-prim hair that i forgot what we rerferred to it as. tho i was stunned sunday to see a woman avi with long, "avatar hair" and a demo skin with tammy baker-like makeup. i was even more stunned to see her rezz-day as april of 2007. |

I noticed that. The bald base I wear under the hair is dark like that. No idea why, but it works and that's what you see in the picture. I've never tried to take a picture while flying. Flying plus trying to chat is tough enough. Messing with the camera angles at the same time is just not going to happen. That's why I got a lot quieter when we were flying. Especially where we were, when I was going around that mountain and not just flying in open air, it takes a lot more work. That was a great place to fly. Lots of stuff to see and not much to crash into (except that wall we crashed into). No private land with banlines, auto orbiting security, angry homeowners, etc. That's where a helicopter comes in handy. Hovering is perfect for photographs or chatting, or.....................eating pie. _____________________

I would call any avatar hair short enough to be worn under prim hair a 'bald cap', yes. Be aware that you also probably want to keep a truly bald cap around with eyebrows adjusted the way you want for if you want to get any sort of mohawk-like hair.

I would call any avatar hair short enough to be worn under prim hair a 'bald cap', yes. Be aware that you also probably want to keep a truly bald cap around with eyebrows adjusted the way you want for if you want to get any sort of mohawk-like hair. i'm way ahead of you. have had a mohawk since summer of 2006 and a "bald cap" of miniscule size. which reminds me ... i do need to update my avatar pic here. |
