Piccie and SLurl at the store blog (newly-created last night, so it looks a bit bare!). There's also a Flickr stream on the blog, and I put some shots of it inworld on that:

That's what I always tell my husband (he's 6'6";). But he says "The bigger they are the harder it is to make them fall."

tell your husband some strange lady from the forums said "^5". :)

Oh! I have a question. My friend, Kit, is in the process of buying some land, and now is looking to purchase a house. Any suggestions on where she might find nice houses that won't break the prim bank? She's pretty particular. I think her prim count may be around 900, but she is an interior design nut so she uses a lot of prims for furniture, flowers and art/stuff.

And my apologies if I should already know that a regular post-er has this good stuff. Blame my margarita-fogged, sun-cooked brain. :D

Afternoon, people. Finally getting to grips with my usual Saturday Morning Headache (not, alas, as a result of too much booze on Friday night; rather a result of getting to sleep for as long as I like, rather than being routed out of bed at some godforsaken hour by the alarm clock).

I made a new thing for the store last night. I got an amazing triple set of pirate ship textures from TRU the other day, and while I was at work yesterday the name of this new thing came to me. When I got home, I *had* to make it. It's a piratical-themed garden arbour, and it's called... The Arrr!bor.

/me waits for the groans.

(Had to spell it the US way, because the UK way looked weird on the ad texture...)

Happy birthday, FD! Hiya to everyone else. Ugh, I need more painkillers. And food. Definitely need food.

/rubs your temples...gets you some water and some painkillers...(and there's food on the table)

The Arrr!bor....good one. :D /groans...

For an incredibly low price on very nicely designed, non-elaborate homes, check out Ingrid Ingersoll's Homestore -- it's a small place. Pay attention to the permissions, they varied between the houses last time I checked. Personally, I always like to modify a home. Ingrid was nice enough to change one of hers to copy/mod instead of copy/transfer for me!

Also, Ace Albion's prefabs are very very nice for the price, livable spaces with clean, modern lines, nicely textured, modest prim counts.

Try Brennan Designs. I have one of hers, a beautiful Ranch style, with a huge deck. I'm not sure of the prim count, but I don't think it was too high. Also Coco makes nice houses too.

So...

I love you people here- I don't think I have anyone on mute- maybe I do - one I recall I found offensive at one point, ...

Next you'll be telling fart jokes. Then we will have completed the process of corrupting you completely.

Wait. It's not me, is it? Hellooooo? Amaranthim? Can you see me?

So much for visiting the neighbors....I'll keep my ideas to myself from now on
Things will eventually settle and go back to their more usual/normal state - that is the way of forums and the interwebz - don't sweat it.

Personally I think there are people in this forum that are just as bad as *some* of the ones over there -- and I emphasized *some* because, like here, not everyone over there is an evil monster out to just be nasty -- but also like over there, *some* here also behave that way on a regular basis.

Most people really need thicker skins and need to stop taking things so personally - and stop thinking that everyone has to think/feel the way they do and/or approve of the same things.

I usually only agree with a man in bed - and not even always then. Being as how you are the Evil one, I *might* make an exception, but no promises.

Is it just me or has the forum slowed? In the last like 50 refreshes, only 1 new post.

I think I may be hyper.

Weekends are usually a little slow around here.

Not this slow!

It's like.. slower than a crippled snail going the wrong way on a moving sidewalk in a congested airport!
