The only error I can see is being made by countless people extolling the virtues of Taco Botulism.

Might be...but, then again, there have been countless horrors passed off as cuisine through the ages...from all countries, nationalities, and civilizations...

There's a good reason why these places are open at 3am - that's the best time of day to go and get your fill of them...

(after all, one doesn't really want to be fully conscious when eating them - might have to consider what they're really like)

I was not really into the comic books as a kid - if they did not make a cartoon from it, I usually knew nothing about it. Apparently, some of my childhood education suffered here.

although I do confess to having had a few ales that evening. Still, as food poisoning episodes go, it was pretty spectacular.

Oh, and that bloody Philip Ontakos commercial. It makes me want to throw stuff.

Hrmph. I'm dying over here and you women are swooning over a guy who can't cure the common cold without turning it into an outbreak of flesh-eating-bacterial meningital sub-cranial anthrax, or some other sort of unheard of disease that he made up on the spot to justify his bad-boy doctor persona.

Rotten House. All skinny and handsome. I bet I could kick his ass.

I want an omlette and a donut and a meatball sandwich and a bowl of ice cream. F-in' hungry. Then I want a cigar and a nap. Then I want to go fishing and I want to fry whatever I catch for dinner and serve it with a bottle of wine and cornbread dripping in butter and honey. And I don't want to work out, either.

Oh Yosef, honey, your presence dominates me. Your words, your touch, the scent of you. Your nearness befuddles my senses, a sweet perfume rising in my mind to cloud reason, judgment, fidelity. My very pores seem to cry out for you in a consuming hunger which can only be satisfied by the feel of your skin next to mine.

Well- I just created a group Keepers of the Thread :)

I sent a few invites - it is open enrollment and all members can invite- but I didn't list it cause I think it's one of those pay things and I think it should really be limited to the folks that find out about here so they really are interested anyway- just walk up to any fellow threader - chances are you will find one that already singed up. I f not drop me an IM in world and I will send you an invite.

The Thread must live!

OK. I have the mental image of Al Gore, wearing slave silks, while riding a sandworm, embedded in my brain from another thread. And now? Al Gore is singing Claire's theme song!

I will need a great deal of goofing around tonight in SL to recover from today's threads.:)

and finally, post 3125 is the first in May. And I'm soo drained. Want to die now.

Yes...that, sadly, is a constant with the stuff...

...as I pointed out to 3Ring earlier, she can replicate the Taco Bell / Del Taco experience by chewing a teaspoonfull of Lawry's Seasoning salt, and a good laxative...

Same thing...same idea...same state of mind...why oh why do they leave a memory of tasting good, though??
/thinks of tasty, salty, spicy, greasy meat filling rubbery taco shells, with shredded lettuce and something trying to be cheese sprinkled on top...
/drools...still doesn't know why...

Such a timely topic, as I await the delivery of my lunch from Del Taco. Don't forget the orange, gooey slime they use on nachos... How can anything so disgusting taste so good?

Edited:

Amara, Wed is my day to work from home, so I can usually sneak in for a bit during the day. I'll do some pose shopping for our calendar shot. :)

Lexxi, thanks for the trip down memory lane...

and Everyone else, Good Morning! Oops, afternoon, I mean.

OKies- I will try and get something done before then so that I can have something to show for it- are we going to try for own photography? Steely seriously has done done nice shots for me- it's just hard to figure out his schedule where it will be from one moment to the next- I could ask him tonight if I see him if you like - let me know- I really won't be free to do much until Wednesday anyway.

It would be great to have a photographer. I'm not sure we'll be ready to shoot this week though. Still have a few props to locate, as well as poses.
