Dear Rhaorth: It’s us again: the Lindens. We haven’t written lately because we’ve been awfully busy, what with the nice kite-flying weather and that new brewery that opened down the street. Plus, with California still ok on medicinal marijuana, a lot of us have come down with a nasty case of “glaucoma”. Ahyhoo, it has come to our attention that you have started a thread in some sort of forum that we may be associated with called “Resident Answers”. We had no idea until today that there were actual forums dedicated to us, and we are flattered, although we are concerned about the title of the forum. It indicates to us that those pesky residents might be looking for answers again, and that just never ends well. This thread of yours has grown to an unwieldy size. As Philip says about big stuff, “Man – that’s big.” We understand that at some point, perhaps in the first post, you actually wished death on this leviathan of a thread. While we abhor violence, we tend to agree. We could lock the thread, but that would take us away from our important business, and today is Mexican Sombrero Thursday. There’s tacos and really big hats, and M Linden has promised us that the really big announcement will be that we are having an actual, Honest to God mariachi band! We’re beside ourselves. Torey and Robin are arguing about whether the really giant guitar is better than the itty-bitty one, and Zero is trying to translate the words to La Cucaracha using his babbler. Magellan is nowhere to be found. But we digress (el digresso! Heh…sorry). We are leaving it up to you to fix the mess you have created. It is up to you to ensure that every single person who has posted in the thread deletes their posts until there are none left. Please refrain from overburdening the PM system. Simply contact everyone who has posted and politely request that they begin deleting their posts. Once the thread is empty, simply delete your OP, and there will be no problems. We expect that, since we have the friendliest residents this side of WoW, you should have no problems. Please let us know when you have accomplished this task, and please hurry. Once the tequila kicks in, we are unlikely to be able to respond to any messages you send us, unless you are concierge-level. It has, of course, been a pleasure helping you. Love, hugs, and VIVA LA REVOLUCION!, Pancho Villa Linden ooo, I just had a sinful idea .. Instead of a cheesecake, make a zabaglioni with blue curaco. cherry topping. But -- here's the twist -- make the pieshell out of white chocolate. oh oh oh ... I need a stencile of the texas star ... then sprinkle cinnamon over that for the topping instead. So ... white chocolate shell, layer of fresh blueberries and maraschino cherries on the bottom, cover with zabaglioni, Texas star in cinnamon on top. this could work ![]() A general summation: Everyone has something they don't like about this thread, be it a person, or what they like to post. But we are starting to get cranky and overly sensitive and getting pissy when the the thing we don't like shows up, instead of just letting it go by. And we are keeping score of who answers our posts, and how they answer them, and taking things way to seriously and personally. We had two people try to tear this thing and us aprt last week, and they almost succeeded. Now we are doing their work ourselves. If the thread is wearing on you, take a break. _____________________

Forum calendar? Sure, I'm in, if there's still a month available.
I need a nice snuggly nap first, though. _____________________

Never fail to deliver! I'm swooning here. But can I have it without the cinnamon? Nothing against Texas, or cinnamon I just don't think I'd like the way it tastes with the other things. Honest to goodness I love everyone who posts here and I enjoy everything that gets posted. If I quoted each one and added, "nice post," it would be tedious, but I could. And I get responses to enough of my posts to not feel ignored. If we had a Forum that was equipped for the 21st Century, that problem would be solved. We'd have "Thanks, Agree, Laugh and Groan" buttons. _____________________

Hmm..... Bastige Linden. I kinda like that one. What can you do with it, Trout? Geezum! In the past 18 hours, I've rated Raymond, drafted a letter From the Lindens and dropped countless one liners and worked out my Prokofy rating. Not to mention getting in a mornings worth of RL work. You people are slave drivers. I shouldn't be surprised. According to one questionable source, SL is full of RL slavers, but golly! I never thought I would be a victim. _____________________
