nods just like we dont get tim tams...unless someone knows a place? A Tim Tam is composed of two layers of chocolate malted biscuit, separated by a light chocolate cream filling, and coated in a thin layer of textured chocolate. Sounds very yummy Hmmmm Tin Tams, even better Tin Tam bombs, you nible 2 diagonal corners off then stick it in your hot chocolate and suck through it like a straw, then quickly put it in your mouth where it then explodes in a near ogasmic meltdown of quadriple chocolate fix. ... @ Tegg: i know! ... And when they say "cream" filling they are using the word very loosely. It is actually some sort of aerated petroleum product with a shelf live of about 6000 years. Yummm sounds perfectly delicious - incidentally there's an ongoing spat in the UK about what constitutes a cake and what constitutes a biscuit - the issue is all about tax, cakes are taxed differently to biscuits so believe it or not there are literally millions and millions of pounds at stake as the UK biscuit market is quite a large one Marks and Spencers recently had a tea cake re-classified as a biscuit - it created a precedent FRIED Twinkies are the bomb-diggity!! then comes FRIED Snickers!! /me thumps downstairs wearing hiking boots and backpack, obviously on her way out and just passing through the kitchen to grab a bagel on the way... I'd like to publicly thank Miss Marianne McCann for a really, really fantastic fireworks show at our harbor last night. GREAT job, Mari! And thanks to all of you who came, too. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. I certainly did...I even made a couple of new Friends. Amazing, really. I was in so many IMs that any one person just HAD to feel I was ignoring them. My apologies to anyone who did feel that way. I'd post pics on Flickr, but I bet Mari will beat me to it, and with better ones, too. For those of you who missed it, Mari told me she's doing another show at Livingtree on July 4. Time is not nailed down, but likely 8 pm SL. /me takes a hit from Maureen's coffee mug, a bite out of Elora's bagel, scoops up a banana and is out the door and down the road. Wow! Seconding the thanks for putting on such a great show. Mari's fireworks are awesome! I'll probably miss the 4th because of RL commitments, so I'm really glad I was able to be there. _____________________

That guitar just goes straight through your soul, doesn't it? Dire Straights have the cleanest sound. Dire Straits are incredible. It was always a bit disappointing to me that "Money For Nothing" became their "big song". They have so much more. I've not been to Texas yet (not counting layovers in airports ); it's on my list of places to go!I spent a summer when I was in high school down there visiting with my brother when he was stationed near Houston. Hot and Humid. I did like San Antonio and Austin though. _____________________
