Buy whole tenderloin - put in crock pot in the morning - come home at night to wonderfully tender meal. I do not like to put in much time in cooking.  That works too. Put in with onions, some green apple slices, sauerkraut, caraway seeds, and a bottle of darkish beer, like St Pauli Girl Dark, or a good Oktoberfest. then set it and forget it. _____________________

More likely sitting on a tropical island with the Missus spending all the life insurance money. Well, we haven't heard from her in quite some time either. I assumed she was slaving away balancing Lindal's books while hovering over a tiny bit of coal like Bob Cratchit working for Ebeneezer Scrooge. But who knows? maybe she made off with his dough. Maybe, in a bizarre plot twist reminiscent of Wild Things, she killed him and rolled him off her sailboat before putting her fake front teeth back in and sailing off into the sunset. _____________________

hmmm - never thought about green apples. /me makes a few notes for the tenderloing currently in the freezer. The apples wil take a bit of the sting out of the kraut, and will add just enough sweetness. You can use add red apples and a pich of brown sugar, that's what my Grandmother did, but that's too sweet for me. This recipe is also great for pork chops and spare ribs. _____________________

I had a really good recipe for pork medallions cooked in Guinness. Basically you lightly flour salt and pepper them, and brown in EVOO or Butter, take them out and saute some onions and garlic in the same pan. Add some Guinness to deglaze the pan, thicken it a bit and put the pork back in to finish. Throw in some poppy seeds *optional* and "Walla"! OMG that sounds so delish Brenda. Plus, you can drink the leftover Guinness. Brilliant. _____________________

On my way over to my babysitting post, there was a roadblock on the way. The cop at the roadblock is a friend so I asked him if there was an accident. There wasn't. A horse had escaped from the local produce farm/petting zoo and was running amuck. He pointed to where two other cops were chasing it across a field. If my cell phone wasn't buried in my bag I would have snapped a couple for you. _____________________

hi all
thanks for the comments about the vid on youtube (the one with voice over) I redid the voice about 20 times LOL the only thing I noticed which I dunno how to fix or if it is me, is the pics are blurred, but nice and clear on my pc.... gonna try a different approach and see what happens it is fun to fiddle LOL I had the blog for awhile just never used it but decided now is as good a time as any, and this way I can post what I do to the blog and not annoy you guys with it (and those who want to see can check the blog) easy nuff re the 20K post, I say whomever gets it gets it... all in fun right? _____________________

Erm.. going back a few pages I said hello to Dante and mentioned his SLU avatar.. I had him mixed up with someone else.
Dante, though it is still nice to see you.. sorry for the confusion aspect. 20 books down and my tongue twister quota should be filled for a bit. What are these kid authors thinking? Fun moment. Last book was called Gallop! and it had these holographic kinda pictures that moved when you moved the page. A typical page says: Can you flap like a butterfly? My youngest spent her time saying "yes" and demonstrating each action. Yeah, yeah.. one of those moments only the kid's own parent can love. |

I am not annoyed with anything you post. I am create things too and three of hardest parts of creating I face personally is: 1) I am my own worse critic 2) I want others to see my creations but most of time they go invisible. 3) Most of time when I try to share what I am doing often I perceive that other people either seem elsewhere or don't appreciate it, and I think I am bugging them. Which may or may not be true. _____________________
