First off, I want to thank all of you for your caring, concern and well wishes for my father and family - it is always wonderful to have support from all corners, even deviant one's like this (My Favorite Deviants).
The update is good: father came through the operation very well, and recovery is progressing a little ahead of what was expected.
We were very fortunate - some very talented surgeons were available to work on him, and they were able to get him into the operating room on short notice (was admitted through the emergency room, so was not a scheduled operation with all the right people lined up in advance).
I am still a bit tired, and back in the hospital (on laptop again), so will only be in and out a bit for now, but want to thank all of you again for your support...
Back later...have fun everyone!

From: Max Herzog I was just about to type it! Half time whistle, still 1-0 to the Russians. Never mind flogging, word games, the price of silks, music URLs, general deviancy, sexing dolphins up, shoes, bitchiness or Ann Launay's posterior. Positive thoughts for Sweden please. And no, this isn't a scam. Go Sweden!

Woohoo! I'm going home early! I have to run an errand downtown, but my boss said not to bother coming back to the office - just head home afterwards! I knew there was a reason I keep putting up with this job for all these years! Later peeps! And Joseph, glad to hear the good news about your daddy

From: Brann Georgia Heyas In another thread (music URL thing) someone suggested that these forums feature a Bitch Brigade. So who's with me? I've designated myself a chartered member but we'll have to have a chairwoman and secretary, maybe someone to take notes. We already have people who bring munchies to the meetings but we can always use more pie. Sorry, guys, only bitches allowed. count me out. i'm less of the bitch type, and more of the bully type.

What does sodding mean as in "2 sodding 0" Max?

From: Damien1 Thorne Animal: neko What does sodding mean as in "2 sodding 0" Max? It's marginally less offensive than saying the score is 2 effing 0. You don't need me to tell you how the word originated.

You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.
Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

From: Elora Lunasea Will the men have to wear vaginas to meetings? Will we have to check at the door? /me shudders at the thought, and if we do, knows for sure we all belong in the "SL Is Full of Deviants" thread.... you don't need to have one of those to be a bitch!

From: Brenda Connolly Max, it is damn near impossible for me to get excited over a soccer game, but I will try, just for you. I'm beyond the "excited" stage. Hurtling towards the "puce with impotent rage" stage now. The Swedes are not deserving of your support or excitement at this moment in time. My rich and varied vocabulary has almost been used up shouting at this shower of cretins.
