Actually, as a shopper, I really hate that...if I want a LM to someone's shop, I'll make it myself. I want the items and ONLY the items I purchased in the folder or box and everything else gets deleted immediately.

So much for bedtime, cousin comes by, asks if i wanna see the movie, so i say sure. and we went...and all i can ask myself is WHY??!!! why haven't i learned my lesson!! M.Knight Shalaman owes me moneys!!!

better to put the lm and have the buyer delete it than have no lm and the buyer want or need it to pass on to another

for the record, I prefer to have the lm, notecards, pics, and anything else they want to slap in there

I cannot tell you the number of times someone will ask me where I got something, and of course, I cannot recall, so I go to look in the folder...no landmark.

Yes, I can go look under properties or rez part of the outfit and find the creator, but having the LM saves me time, and believe me, I am all about the hassle factor.

Each to their own, and no problem with that whatsoever. Nevertheless, if I like a store (or think someone I know will), I'll grab a LM before I leave, which I file in my immaculately organised inventory

Personally, I just get mildly irritated when I open an item and cascades of textures, notecards and LMs fill my screen.

I enjoy being a rare breed.

I see no hassle in a quick right-click > Properties, "Here's the name!" It's more of a pain to me to have LMs all over my inventory where they don't belong. It offends my sense of organization.

Re: landmarks. I think their ability to annoy depends largely on whether you rely on your Landmarks folder for teleporting, or whether you rely on the dropdown list in the World Map. If the latter, then having 10 LMs for your favourite store (one in each item you bought) cluttering up the list *is* annoying. That's why I file my LMs now and always use the Landmarks folder for teleporting. It's much quicker to open up the 'Landmarks - Hair' folder and there are all my LMs for hair stores, than to scroll through 100+ names in the World Map dropdown to find the one that I want.

I want the LM too- cause sometimes I forget what's what- - I also like the name of what something IS - like a blouse should include the word BLOUSE, shoes -SHOES. Because I can't always remember the cutesy names - guilty of the name thing in my wares as well - so I will search under the general what it is category in my inventory and hopefully it shows that way. I have two pairs of ballet boots, had to buy the second 'cause for the life of me I have no clue where I bought the first, when- or what they were called. In over 10k pieces of inventory it was bound to get lost!
I include a graphic as part of the box stuff comes in... but does that show up when it transfers to inventory? Someone who bought soemthng let me know please-

I think you are right. I'm torn about this. I hate to clutter up anyone's inventory but I hate to think they might want to come back and can't find their way. I've begun to to see where including a picture could be helpful too - or annoying...

I won't argue there, but I try on and organize my purchases every day or two, so it's not a huge issue. I DO like it when the store name - not an abbreviation - is included in the folder title.


I'm pushing 12K and that's not an issue due to my organizational system. *shrug*

Same here. I don't need the ad pic, or non essential notecards. I find I don't even use landmarks for favorite places any more. But it only takes a minute to delete that stuff, so it's no big deal either way.

I like it when they include the ad pic. It helps when I can't remember what the item looks like, so I don't have to wear it/rez it to see.
