yus...books! I got the next ones in the Anita Blake series...can't wait to get reading!

I've really gotten away from books, too much actually. I spend so much time in the car and have really become accostomed to audio books. Even at home I sometimes listen to them.

I should really look into those. I used to eat books and now, have no patience to sit still with them but, my commute is so tediuous it seems like a good idea in addition to listening to music. I'm just afraid I'm going to hate the person's voice or something but I guess until I try I really haven't a clue.

Sadly- the picture is horrible. The gown looks quite lovely on- and no- my face is not normally smeared like that... What went wrong????

They are bmp- i had no problems before when the RC worked for me - now i can t use the RC cause it takes a picture including the UI- :(

looks like bad shadows, do you change your light settings or use facelights when taking the pics?

if you like I can show you how I change my light settings for my pics to eliminate shadows

as for the UI showing you might have to uncheck that little check box when you do the snapshot (show interface should be unchecked) as well as show hud (unless you are taking a snapshot of a hud hehe)

Rha has something there I think. Facelights may help a lot, and changing the light settings too. I find that the illuminator is very helpful when taking photographs specifically.

Also, are you shooting outdoors or indoors? Or do you maybe need a Photosphere perhaps? I have one if you would like to try it out. Don't know how short on time you are to get these done tho. I'm not inworld but might be able to meet you sometime this evening, if it isn't too late or possibly over the weekend. Tough for me to say. I could drop you the landmark of my skybox but I think I have to configure the Sphere in that case somehow to allow you to use it if I'm not around and I've never done that before :confused:

indoors and outdoors doesn't make a difference as the lighting is not changed via walls, ceilings etc

the only thing that will change it is local lights if you have local lighting turned on
full bright objects might, because of the contrast

It's a bug...looking at the JIRA issue, it appears that a number of people have had that problem since RC 9.

That is the [Big Announcement], but shhh don't tell them outside this thread. We are getting super graphics and new UIs. Also, lag will be gone and everyone's stipends will be 1K a week.. 400L for those basics and 50L for the NPIOF people with valid e-mails. Also everyone gets a free island, but will have to pay 25 bucks a month for tier.

Sadly, two weeks after this is implemented it will be pulled again as residents will just be too happy and LL will miss all the complaints. :(
