Gerry Creaney is no boast. Rick Schroder was probably a more accomplished centre-forward.

*waves to Max*

yes, but who won yesterday's match? I haven't looked at the newspaper yet...:)

You are on my "A" Celebrity List along with several other people on these forums.

I never heard anything about your panties... I miss out on all the fun.

"CX"

:o

I'll send you a link to the thread that started it all, and pretty much spawned the Cartel. It was I guess the undying thread of it's day. When I find it I'll PM it to you since it is a locked thread.

Hmmm. Now there's a competition I can really get behind. :D

Seriously...I think we ought to have a Cartel "Best Bum" Contest. Maybe we could charge for votes, and donate the proceeds to RFL or something.

/me thinks this is a brill idea! :p

They both get a point apiece. There are 4 groups of 4 teams, so each team plays 3 matches. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, nothing for a defeat.

Top two teams in each group qualify for the quarter finals, which are knockout. Drawn games (not ties) go into extra time (not overtime) and if they are still deadlocked, there is a penalty shootout.

The competition finishes on June 29th, and once Sweden get knocked out, I'm going with the Croats.

Brenda, You give me the impression of being much older and wiser than your young years. ( I mean that as a compliment) I own several cars older than you.

"CX"
I have a child older than Brenda. But I agree she does not seem to have fallen off the turnip truck recently. (I don't think life has hardened you so much, Brenda as strengthened and sharpened you.)

Thanks. I still have a few lucid moments now and then. And you are way sharper than a marble.

A good video dear to my heart as an American...

Warning this a political video stating a point of view I support:

I will have to see it later- being at work i can't concentrate- but if the idea is we need to do it and stop wasting time with the idiocy of ethanol et al- I concur. Got into the other day on a Gorean board- {Non SL-Goreans can argue quite effectively - don't really know any SL ones} :) fortunately we are pretty much aligned on the general opinion.

lol, skimming through the thread, I thought you were talking about the booty contest for a second there. I was thinking, "Wow! Those are some complicated rules for something so silly!" :D

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I'll be pulling for the Azzurri, and ancestral ties require me to root for France, but I kinda like the Orangemen...

Everyone...here, and in RL...is just people, no matter their reputation.

I've had a few people put ME up on that pedestal. As a counterbalance, let me tell you about the first time I met Amaranthim in SL...she wanted some steam in her spa, so I sent her a freebie particle emitter.

She IM's me a few minutes later, in a semi-panic. Her bathroom is filled with steam and she can't find the emitter to turn it off.

Well, I'm embarrassed, because I *knew* this gadget is set, by default, to produce spray for a rather large waterfall, and I hadn't really warned her. So I TP over to see if I can fix it. Sure enough, the bathroom and half the house is enveloped in a cloud of fog...it took maybe ten minutes to find the dang thing and get rid of it.

Meanwhile, her partner shows up and puts in a more reasonable little cloud of steam in about five seconds.

Amara was very gracious...she never said a word about me trashing her bathroom, and gave me a tour of her lovely home and grounds.

Dear Lindy! That was such fun at the time and I learned much- honest :) And I got to meet you- that was really cool though- cause it was one of those- OMG- You're Lindal from the forum!! How cool is that! :D moments..
