I don't have that power.

then click something to edit, and then drag your cursor all over the land highlighting everything owned by "only you".... you may have to zoom way out to get anything that migh be underground.

I think there might be something odd going on because I just can't get that to work. Haven't in a long time. Last week (I think it was), I was playing around with a prim, and noticed I could make part of it transparent, but only a part instead of all. Ended up with an arrowhead without having to do a lot of prim editing. So I decided to see what it looked like as a sphere, and changed it to sphere. Course now I can't see it. It is like a ghost prim now - can stand on, see shadows of feet on it, etc., but it can't be selected. No matter what you try, it can't be selected.

I put a prim below it and then tried to slap a texture downwards towards the transparent prim, trying to untransparentize it. I put the prim below because what happened is what I expected. That prim below had the texture applied.

Edit - drag, randomly trying to grab, etc. - that prim is just there forever now, I guess ("highlight transparent" also failed - oh, and I was in the area yesterday - that ghost prim is still there.)

Is the Bot thread? If so, me too. Cannot reply there, with that same error.

sometimes the error is caused by a sequence of words. change the way you are making the statement and it will probably allow you to post it.

no it was the “SL new mentor” one, but good to know it happens.

A *very* common cause of this is using angle brackets without spaces preceding and following them. And, here's a jira on verboten sequences of words: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-917 )

Thanks Maureen!
yep … would you believe it was because I used the word “from” after the word “select”
How screwed up is that?!

Could also be the words or symbols -- things like the word 'from' anytime after the word 'select' or 'delete'. Also using the < and > symbols without spacing around them can cause problems.

And I absolutely loved your answer, especially your opening lines on the moral decay of our lovely SL world.

Great cast - I love Anne Hathaway (The White Queen) and Johnny Depp. Did you recognize Stephen Fry as the voice of the Cheshire Cat?

Looks like Alice as adventure hero... pretty cool... and some of the scenes look like SL, don't they?

I put this on my list!

I can't wait! I love what Tim Burton manages to do anyway, but the sheer insanity of wonderland....incredible lol.
I didn't recognise Stephen Fry, thanks hehe, but I did spot Helena Bonham Carter. I'm really excited about it lol. Sounds like it comes out before my birthday, so I might plan my celebrations to include a trip to the cinema lol.

Oh! and I bet its gonna be in 3D Imax thingie too! :D

I love Tim Burton's films, generally . . . but he sort of pissed me off with his pseudo-Freudian retelling of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (although other parts of the movie were great), so I am uneasy about this one. I'm sure it will look fabulous, the acting will be marvelous (and, with Johnny Depp, dishy too), and the writing intelligent, but . . . if he messes with the story or the characters too much, I will have very harsh things to say.

Anyone heard anything about the new Terry Gillian film coming out? (I also love Gillian's films, for the same reasons I love Burton's . . . but he is also a bit inconsistent.)

I didn't like the redo of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at all. And I was hesitant about this one until I saw that particular trailer and realised its a sequel thingie.
If he does ruin anything about the original story though I will be just as annoyed lol

Didn't Terry Gilliam just have 'The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus' out recently? I didn't get to see that, and although it looked interestingly wierd (like a lot of his stuff) I didn't get to see it.
He has 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' out in a year or so.
