I would LOVE to go there (or any where) with you. Maybe our S.O.'s too. As soon I and mine win the lottery. Here's another recurring fantasy: that all of you vacation in SD at the same time and come to my house for a party. Similar to my fantasy of getting all my family here with me at the same time.

i'm in!!! :D that would be fun!

Cool! Here's my current project...

very nice. :)

Dakota, that looks cool and sounds like a great project. i can't wait to see it finished, with all the cool textures. egyptians used a lot of rich colors.

WOW! i HAVE TO go there. amazing!

I was pokin' around in Torley's Flickr albums and found a link to this sim.

This is taken from 512 meters away.

These next three are the individual snow globes.

This one is inside the center globe.

There are a lot more builds to explore at many altitudes in the sim. Defiantly worth visiting.

Karnak????
I don't remember there being crude stone penises in Karnak last time I was there.

Mom announced yesterday that she is going to train this year and run a marathon. Yikes! I hope she really can.
The best way to train is to run half a mile on the first day, then a mile on the second, and double it every day thereafter . . .

Pep (Which means after a week you will have to drive almost 60 miles to pick her up and bring her home.)

Oooh, I had only explored the ground level... guess where I'm going today!

Maureen, that was awfully nice of you! I guess airport food is better than it used to be.
That made me laugh out loud.

That looks fabulous. Are we invited for a sneak preview, or is it top sekrit?

Lexxi, thanks for the pic of the gingerbread cottage... I'm too late for the sale, but maybe I'll make one instead. I just got snow on my sim.

I was driving home a little while ago, and heard on the radio that my Alma Mater, Hofstra, is discontinuing it's football program. Sign o the times, I guess.

This reminds me of an old Bill Cosby routine.

I can't listen to it as my machine no longer has sound, but if it is the one I'm thinking of, that one is one of my favorites.

Seeing the builds that Marianne and Dakota posted is making me consider buying that little 2048 plot of land.
*smiles* The last time I bought a little plot it was 1/4 sim by the fallowing week. It wasn't long before that 1/4 sim was feeling cramped.

Great looking builds, Mari and Cody! I think I might learn something too. When I do projects like yours Cody, I always texture prims before I duplicate them. Should I generate and arrange them all before I add textures?

Seven, give your mom my very best wishes. I have a rl friend who is in the second half of her 60's who, three times this year qualified for the Boston Marathon.
I've also seen a great documentary about getting together about 15 people and training them to run a marathon. Their fitness levels at the beginning ranged from pretty good to pretty bad. Their ages ranged from teenage to fifty-something. And almost all of them made it to the finish line. I had one of my personal best runs the day after I saw that.

I guess it depends on how anxious you are to spend time avoiding doing something useful.

Hi Nina!!! It's great to see you.

It is a neat little gingerbread cottage. Inside is a gingerbread train circling a gingerbread tree.
How darling!!!

From: Lexxi Gynoid

I've never seen one in real life. Well . . . I think I might have seen one or two when I was in my growing taller years.
Yeah I think there used to be more of them around Back In My Day. But I have friends now who go to a lot of fund raisers, where at this time of year they buy like 5 or 6 really fancy ones. The motivation has a lot more to do with wanting to support the cause than wanting the gingerbread houses.

From: Lexxi Gynoid
Thanks :) It is good to be inspiring, even if only almost. heh.
That is only a small part of how you inspire me. And it's not your fault if I'm too lazy to add the perspiration factor.

...Those snowglobes look rather neat.
They do! I've often thought about making one or more but haven't gotten around to that yet, either.

Ha ha. When I've come back from periods of being a couch potato, I've never been able to get up to running two miles in three days. But even on the first day I can combine walking and running the 5k route THAT BRINGS ME BACK TO MY OWN DOOR STEP.

It's more my mind than by body that slows down the process.

What reason do they have for goin all drama q...oh. Wait. You said "dungeon". nm

(Now I'm trying to do it myself, how would you rate my attempt, Pep?)

Thanks for including Slurl (and the pictures to tempt me). I looked all over and found no way to get to snowglobes. Even rezzed a prim and started randomly adjusting my height.

Then I remembered Slurl in thread and went and got it. Got to snowglobes easily after that.

Really neat.

I visited there today too; I just flew up from the ground. There were 2 other builds between it and the ground so I explored them all. :)
