Never heard back from him- I was a singularly uninteresting subject i assume- tried to take him to a raunchy place- i mean a place called orgy forest- u wd thnk there wd be SOME sexual activity to gawk at- but nope- just humdrum people not doing anything even vaguely sexual. I just don't know enough smut! So oh well - take tht off my resumé I guess- rotten at getting people smut :(

We spoke with him a few times on the phone. We also kept trying to hook up again, but with me starting my new job and being somewhat overwhelmed timewise, never managed to do this. I believe, I have a standing invitation to get in touch with him and continue our discussions whenever I'm available. However, at this point I'm in no rush - life being still somewhat too busy.

Daros and I are both Steampunk'd out for STEAM: The Hunt (we're #84 in the hunt) and Daros made little Steampunk Robot Shoulderpets as a limited offer in our mall for the hunt's duration. We added light beams to our personal ones, and here's Steampunk!me wearing mine. I've called him Fred. He's kinda cute :D

@ Seven - I'm really enjoying your blog so far :) But, you need to add the link so we can post comments!

You know your mom cracks me up, because I'm sure she must be my age or thereabouts. Reading about how she felt the need to hide everything before your recent trip amused me to no end. I guess, having to now do things on her own has made her somewhat flustered but OMG, does she not realize that she can get renters insurance for only like $200 a year (or Homewowners) which would cover her for the loss of a lot of that stuff? :p Better yet, tell her to get a box at the bank to keep her jewelry in - only cost me about $60 a year for mine and it's far larger than I need.

So much needless worrying! Utterly hilarious! You, are a wonderful daughter for going home to help her out, and there is something about what you are going through which reminds me a lot of the relationship I had with my mom - that push/pull mixed with the love. It's charming, rings true, and I love that you've begun writing it up - great stuff!
