Good Morning :)

I must apologize to everyone for my part in yesterday's melee. I was in a bad mood.

Checked out Mari's fireworks show last night. First time I have ever seen something like that in SL. Pretty cool stuff.

Have a great day everyone.

I come in here and throw in a reply in some threads, reading some pages back, but I can’t really see myself becoming a regular here. It’s been awful again, and I just did what saddens me, I put Pep on my ignore list. It is more because of the pattern than because of my personal feelings. I mean that he takes too much space, even if he has some nice and thoughtful things to say, it is lost in the rest. I am pretty sure that if I had meet Pep inworld, I would have liked him a lot. I don’t think his friends lie when they say he is a good friend. But now the weight of too many posts has made it impossible to see his better sides if I should stumble across him. Be well, Pep.

Thank you for the explanation Marianne. I find it amusing, although slightly disappointing, that it was my well-intentioned criticism of one of your posts long ago that initially lit the fires of the over-emotional "females" here, who read but fail to comprehend, yet *you* have matured into someone whose posts (even the images! ;) ) I enjoy reading.

Pep (Your choice, your loss, of course. )

PS If you *really* wanted to cut your reading time for this thread down it might be more effective - and you'd miss no content at all - if you just ignored 3Ring and her "me too" posts. :p

Surely not an admission of being over-reactive and over-emotional?

Pep (It's a common failing. )

Someone was missing from Gabby's pictures :)

She is so pretty. One of the bonuses to SL is that people can not see you staring.

Glad you enjoyed the show! Only two more of 'em 'til the end of the season.

I just spent 3 1/2 hours driving up from the Shore, listening to Journey...really loud.

Very pretty, but I have to wonder - being a vampire and all, should you create such an obvious target for the wooden stake wielding Van Helsings of the world? Or perhaps you fear them not at all.

Tonight at the Hangout...

I never knew the Greedy Greedy room even exists at the hangout. I need to get out more, hanging or otherwise.

Hera is also doing a great job of reminding us that tans are not the be all end all of great looks. I'm glad the goth generation has embraced this idea. Maybe they won't be at such high risk of sun damage or worse as my baby boom generation might be.

Road trips and loud music always remind me of this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE1CwsNw7yY

And one of my all time favourite Journey covers is by Petra Haden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kXbHf1SwGk

Help an aging puppy out and tell me what genre of music that first piece is considered. I would have called it retro-bubblegum, but maybe it's indi? Post rock? Or just pop?

Styles seem to be more of a spectrum today. Nothing fits in neat little pigeonholes. Maybe that's a good thing. Anyway, it's clever little song.

You don't want to know what's on my playlist. Everyone would just roll their eyes. . . :p

I'm not big on classifying my musical tastes based on genre either, as I tend to like what I like. However, The Boy Least Likely To video I would probably classify as indie.

I promise I won't roll my eyes at your playlist! I'll just mock it in group chat ;P (just joshin')

Okay - this morning the mp3 payer is randomly playing Pink Floyd's Ummagumma, and a series of orchestral works by Ralph Vaughan-Williams (Sinfonia Antartica, Fantasia on Greensleeves, etc.), and also an album by a group called The Shins:

I guess I'm eclectic at least.

It might be about 28°C out there, but Skell's ready for autumn. Found a tiny little Japanese store yesterday with this sweater in it for just L$60. Together with soft leather pants, it's one of those 'snuggle with the boyfriend by the fire' kind of outfits :)

The "aging" puppy has good taste in music. No last trip to the vet to be put down for you!

Only got room for Daros, I'm afraid. There's no space between us when we snuggle ;)

We don't need to be between you - Brenda and I will just sandwich you two between us.
