From: Marianne McCann It was funny, I put a whole lotta work into a silly little billboard. Good job. It's a great billboard. From: Rioko Bamaisin Okay can we stop reposting that picture of the cyclists? It's just disturbing. My grandmother was a BIG fan of bike racing and we always seemed to be at her house for EVERY Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. (to say nothing of the much smaller Loop of Luxembourg) I hated it. She had a little apartment and a tiny TV. There was no escape. Every time I looked at the screen all I'd see was a close-up of some guy's ass. Kaimi's reports are the first time I've ever seen bike racers from the front. From: 3Ring Binder LMAO! Kaimi, you are killing me.

From: LittleMe Jewell That was when I started looking at guys' butts. I was a late bloomer. But still not a big butt-look-atterer. Maybe those televised cycle races on my grandma's little TV have de-conditioned me. Like in Clockwork Orange. .

Lol maybe the technology of the cameras on the motor bikes has improved a bit. I wish I lived in a place that got good coverage of the Giro. My grandson, who often comes with his dad to watch at my house, also complains that he's tired of cycling on tv. He usually comes with a movie to watch on my son's laptop. He's only five so we still have hopes of turning him into a fan.

From: Marianne McCann G'mornin, thread! Hope all had a super weekend! After all the fun of camp, it was time to have a weekend that was a lot lower impact and involved a lot of time out in First Life. so I don't have a of of photos of the weekend. The big project was a move of my Bay City store to a new parcel. I take moves very literally, as you know. This is the store in its new home, as well as it's neighbors in Imaginario, Falcon, and even a bit of Argos in this shot. Yay for RenderFarClip and RenderUseFarClip in the debug settings! I did get the chance to visit DILemma Island and see the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum. I so want those houses, but in First Life. Here's the inworld version of "Falling Water:" One little project I did work on this weekend was a billboard. It sits next to the parking lot on my Bay City property (someone wanted a parking lot while out shopping? OK!). My Brother Pygar lent a hand on sculpts, I did all the texturing, including a lot of period-like billboards "advertising" my stuff and/or Linden places. The billboard also gives a selection of LMs to places far and wide. One of my little parts to encourage exploration, given the proximity of the Bay City Infohub. Oh, and of course there were fireworks on Saturday, which had a sizable crowd an all. Lotsa folks came by to celebrate my (belated) birthday. As sometimes happens, a dance party broke out at the end. An that's about it! /me waves to Mari. Ah yes...another boring weekend, I see! *chuckles* Looks like the move went well. I LOVE that billboard you designed! The "West Haven" caught my eye, as I had a dearly-loved great aunt and uncle who lived in West Haven, Connecticut. *smiles* And again...happy birthday!

From: Skell Dagger Mari, those pictures were brilliant. Your store is like the Bajan chattel houses: designed to be moved in one piece, on a flatbed truck (only chattel houses tended to be moved in the middle of the night, to avoid angry landlords) My favourite was the billboard. Love those old-style ads. I went to Knightsbridge today. SW3 was pretty quiet. Bigger: ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/skelldagger/3762028227/sizes/l/) Oi, feasting on me is Daros's job Why, you look quite at home, Skell. and lol on Daros' job description. *grins*
