If it weren't for aging we'd never want to leave our bodies and we wouldn't make any progress. :D

define "progress" :p

Learning everything we can here and moving on to a higher plane of existence. If that doesn't seem like progress to you now it isn't.

Today Stage 6 at Le Tour De France, 181.5 km (112 miles) Gerone to Barcelone was a bit hillier than yesterday. But still flat enough to give the sprinters hope that they would get to the line for a chance to win. An added attraction today was a lot of rain, which was responsible for a lot of crashes. At least two prominent riders looked as if they might be hurt enough to have their performance affected. I don't know yet.

Four riders stayed out ahead of the peloton for almost the whole day. With about 27km to go Scottish rider, David Millar of USA team Garmin left the other three behind. For a while it looked as if he would make it to the end, especially after a crash in the final km's disarrayed the peleton. But the guys at the front were not affected and Millar was swept up at the last minute.

Former Tour de France sprint competition Green Jersey winner, Thor Hushovd, of Norway, who now rides for the new Cervélo Test Team won the wild sprint finish.

Throughout the day team Astana (with Lance Armstrong, Alberto Contador and two other possible Tour winners) controlled the pace at the front of the peloton. And current Tour leader, Fabian Cancellara the Swiss champion on Team Saxo Bank stayed right with them.

Tomorrow – the first mountain stage. Everything can change.

@3Ring: Please stop posting photos of me here or I shall be forced to involve my lawyers.

@Rio: You should really start with something less complicated than myself; several therapists have fired me because I make them feel inadequate - seriously.

@Clover: The Dalai Lama was once asked if he could remember any of his former lives; his response was that he couldn't remember what he'd had for breakfast.

Oh in therapy I did mention a situation with an online friend that happened. She didn't look at with me with three heads or anything and completely understood what I was saying. Though it was only a brief explanation and story, I didn't feel like a complete idiot telling her.:D
Good. Validation is one of the things one is supposed to get from decent therapy.

After my latest doc appt today, I think I'm on my way to being certified insane. So I'll join you in the rubber room.

Lol, but I believe they knew he WAS the Dali Lama because as a small child he recognized people and items from his previous incarnation.

When i said that earlier about 'the road goes on forever' i was going to post a youtube for country music fans but then couldn't find a studio version from Robert Earl Keen so decided to skip it- but i found this guy, who is just a guy covering the song- I think he is really awesome - so if u like country musc listen to this and if not - nvm :)

This is actually one of my favorite songs -

The one they have from The Highwaymen was good too but i wanted to share the original singer but all were live that i found right off and the qualit sucked. So this amateur guy is ver good and I hope he goes far.

I like this idea.

How about if the part starts tonight and just goes one- cause u know.. "the road goes on forever and the party never ends..."
Going to be hard to get a DJ on those terms

OK, so here is the plan that makes most sense to me...

Event: Celebration Party @ Gabriele's mansion in Watchman sim.
Time Starts: Saturday 11th @ 7pm - Sunday 12th 12am SLT
Dress: Anything fabulous
Theme: Any

Hopefully 3Ring can make it in the extended time.

Can anyone recommend a good DJ for the event?

Lil' would you post this on the cartel group for me also please?
