I always felt so bad for John Rhys-Davies (Gimli). He looked as if he had a really hard time with all the makeup.

Oh in therapy I did mention a situation with an online friend that happened. She didn't look at with me with three heads or anything and completely understood what I was saying. Though it was only a brief explanation and story, I didn't feel like a complete idiot telling her.:D


Glad to hear she didn't react in any negative or judgemental way to that, as she well should not have. I wasn't around to post back about this earlier, but would have concurred with most people that opening up about your online experiences would be beneficial since they are a large part of your life. You don't have to make a big deal over it, however, part of the point of being in therapy is to be able to fully discuss all aspects of your life so that you get the full benefit of being there and the help which may be available from the therapist. If you are lucky, he/she will be one of the good ones and be able to guide you towards realizations which will help you in your life, not hinder you and make you feel worse than you already do. When I was dealing with the situation with my (now) ex, I was fortunate to find someone who was very simpatico to the problem which I specifically was dealing with in the marriage, and not once did I walk out of there feeling misunderstood. If anything, it made me feel more empowered and stronger; eventually leading to fully opening my eyes to the way things reallly were in my life.

With knowledge comes power and starting with yourself can only help in the longrun. Yes, there are some shoddy therapists out there, but I do believe that the good ones outweigh those, (at least that has been my experiences thus far).

Oddly enough, as non existent as mine are I still feel like I need a sports bra for running. But I probably don't really.
