This is a fantastic picture. Love. It.
I could go on about the pose, the angle, the composition. It looks like the set was designed around you, not just some place you happen to be at the moment. Is is a great photo.

Thank You, Rhonda. Being such an admirer of your work, I am honored. That was probably the hardest one to take. It took a lot to get her looking just the way I wanted, plus with graphics turned up for picture taking any movements are a real chore. Plus at that level, a blink lasts an eternity. I have to admit, I do like that one as well. It is frameable.

I will be signing copies of that photo in the Main Lobby after the show, for a nominal fee.

Rio,
Here are a couple of things to consider. On the worst case, think of it like a doctor visit. Even if you have been doing recreational drugs, you need to tell the doctor. They don't judge and will not call the police but they need to know incase of drug interactions among other things. If internet communication is a big part of your life, then your consoler needs to know.

But in all likelihood, you will not be spilling in big secret. Most people have a little nerd in them :) Besides, you will just be letting her know that you have a social life and a support group you can turn too. Just like you are doing now.

I see the whole page. If you click on all sizes, pick the size you want and the url is listed below the pic.

nope didnt work- the copy shortcut thing is greyed out- Firefox insists on crashing so havent been able to use it in months.

On Flickr at the top of the pic are a series of buttons. If you click the magnifying glass, "All Sizes" then choose a size, down at the bottom will be 2. Grab the photo's URL: and the URL to copy.

This is excellent advice. During my time in therapy several years back, my thereapist wanted me to tell her about anything psotive in my life, that gave me comfort, that I enjoyed whatever. She even patiently listened as I went into detail about my youthful crush on William Shatner. :p

As others have said, this is a social place, you have friends here, and the technology is not important. The concept is still the same.

Wel enuf time wasted on that- what it was was photos of Papa John pizza set up for a mystery shop. You have to cut the pizza in such a way that no pressure is applied so nothing gets crushed. Then the slices are arnaged one up, one down so that the crust is visible- an over all shot of how the pizza arrives so the presentation is visible. For this you earn $7.00 US and a free pizza :) Fun little jobbie and no hardship.

Anyway how important do you think it is that I should tell her about my online relationships? Do you think it matters in the grand scheme of therapy? Take note, that I am mandated in this state to go to therapy because of the kinds of medicines I am on. So It's not like I'm there cause I want to be and expect anything from it. Just wondering...
I am of mixed opinion on this and it really probably does depend on the therapist. Many therapists still think of spending lots of time online to be another "symptom" of stuff or an escape. If she is of that type, then it could make the therapy worse and she may focus on that too much. I guess I would suggest a *light* mentioning of your online life and see how she responds and take it from there.

Still not dressing up in costume? Wasn't Amelia Earhart once in a Voyager episode or something?

Her job isn't to understand you, it's to make you understand yourself.
Unfortunately, from personal experience, I can attest to the fact that many of them still seem to try and understand you, judge for themselves what is good and bad for you, and then try to change you to fit their definition of 'normal and balanced'.

I'm a skeptic in many aspects of life and my own therapy experiences has not changed that view any. I just recommend going slow and monitoring her response.

And WTF is up with these forums this morning -- they seem much slower and back to sometimes pages timing out trying to load. Anyone else or just me on this?

She said she is meeting him "in the flesh". I took that to mean a little after hours rendezvous sans clothing. :p

Welcome back and belated HAPPY B-DAY (we celebrated it in your absence).

There were some awesome pics, so you might want to just go back and do a quick browse of pics since you were gone.

Speaking of birthdays -- today is Lil's 2yr rezday and I WANT A CAKE.

And they could very well be right. I'm not talking about Rio specifically, but all of us. That being said... that is certainly not a reason to avoid bringing it up. I'd say it's a good argument FOR bringing it up.
