Since we went so crazy yesterday, I'm going to consolidate my replies and comments a bit until I get caught up:

From: Amaranthim Talon
... Right now I am playing footsies with Marcel- follow along, we'll see how it plays out.
That was some pretty intense footsies - it was getting close to 'need a room' point. :D

Ann - I am sooo sorry our sucky tempermental weather here has caused you to miss out on time with your friend. :(

From: Xerxes Kingstop
1. I just figured out why clothing makers include the texture of the promo shot in the package. I had been deleting them. NOW it dawns on me! It is so that when you're knee-deep in clothing inventory and you can't remember what that thing labeled
"::!!ZIFFBAM Designer sexy Lee Quan sports joy outfit!!::"
actully LOOKS like, you can look at the darn texture and not have to rez the clothing.
(duh) Sorry, it took me a while.
I wish they would all do it - my clothing inventory is down right scary and I probably only have a picture of maybe 20-25% of the outfits.

From: Xerxes Kingstop
2. I learned how to open packages in places where rezzing is not permitted. :)
All ya gotta do is WEAR the darn box. Then, with the box flapping on your hand or head, right click, go into "edit" mode, drag the item you want into inventory, exit edit mode and detach the box. A few seconds of looking foolish wearing a package on my hand is a lot easier then finding a sandbox.
Going Home or the Hangout is a lot faster and easier than finding a sandbox also. :D

From: 3Ring Binder
that's not his leg. and that isn't his knee.
ROFLMAO - this managed to hit me at just the right moment this morning to make me truly laugh out loud.

From: 3Ring Binder
on that note: Mel. bring me some Mel Gibson. *swoon*
Oh yes, I forgot about him - sigh.

From: Lindal Kidd
Seriously, Xerxes...I HAVE found a downside to keeping those product pictures in the folder with the clothes...or landmarks to the store or instructional notecards too. It makes it tougher to simply select the folder and Add To Outfit. For the anally retentive, there is a solution. Make a subfolder in the product folder that contains the parts of the thing you actually WEAR.
But 'add to outfit' ignores landmarks, notecards, and textures. I keep the textures with my outfits, usually delete the notecards and I move the landmarks into my clothing landmark folder. I also rename all outfit folders so that the designer's name is there.

From: Lee Ponzu
Please Make This Thread ...a sticky.
This thread has been sticky many many times - especially in the last day or two.

I thought the word association was a blast, though not something I would want to do for very long or on a daily basis.

The group shower was an extrememly nice diversion. ;)

A more weighty topic - hmmmm, have you noticed that very few of us seem to have a weight issue in SL?

Sigh. Don't you hate it when you know that you've heard that one before, and you know if you go along with it, you're going to get the short end of the stick, but you just can't quite remember how the thing goes and so you go ahead and fall for it anyway?

Me too.

Knock, knock!

Who's there?...................;)

Excellent jokes so far.

Here's my favorite knock knock joke, which is out of contention, of course, but it makes me laugh. It's kind of visual, though.

Knock Knock
Who's there
Interrupting starfish
Interrupting starf...mmmph (you spread your fingers wide so your hand looks like a starfish, reach out and cover their mouth with it.)

Hilarious with kids. Not so funny in biker bars. Having a pool cue broken over the back of your head hurts. A lot.

dang it. you beat me to my next contribution, the interrupting cow:

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Interuppting cow.
Interuppting c...
MOOOOOO!

/me grins..

One of my favorite events is "Naughty Nights" with Coda Cazalet. Really the name about says it all.... so today there was an announcement for tonight's theme, "naughty Nights in Vegas", so everyone is to dress in Vegas wear...

My first thought was, yeah right! We should all come as overweight, camera-toting, bermuda shorts-wearing tourists.

Good Morning Threadies!!

Just in case you didnt know it is now Friday and in 7 hours and 30 minutes it is the weekend!!! Well for me anyways.
It is the weekend for me. Sort of. Off today, working Sunay. I'm thinking aobt running out to see Banff today. I have been all over dowton ad while I have fallen in love with Calgary, I need to see something else for a change.

And speaking of dowtown ... the guys at the office told me "dowtown changes after 6:00 PM." I'm ding my work after hours and weekends (working on the servers) so he was warning me to be careful on my walk too the hotel at night.
/me laughs
Even the thugs are polite in Canada.
I have yet to meet anyone on the street after midnight that I could not imtimidate with just posture and a look. And I'm a pudgy old fart :)

Anyway, have fun today, yall. I'm going out for the day

Only works on things you can copy, tho. So for transfer/no copy things you still need to find a place you can rez things.

I like to go to the Forum Cartel Hangout to rez or try on things. You have to join the Forum Cartel group (it's free) and set it as the active group but I usually have it up anyway.

Ok was that a shameless plug or what?
