Is anyone following the cow tongue thread? It's making me laugh out loud at work and my employees already think I am a fruit-cake.
This is just too funny... http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14206

LOL..and I'm trying to vote...but I can't get the jira site to log me in.

Well, I might not have ever chosen any of those 3 words to describe you, but you are always the "perfect gentleman" to all the ladies that come to the Hangout.

One user agrees. :) My very first day here in the forums, Chris sent me an IM inworld inviting me to the Cartel group, and sending me an LM. :)

Hera was out in the gardens earlier- here is a little picture. (Terrible grafix on this machine- tried running a soft filter over it to blur some of the pixelization but meh- not great art)

That sounds a lot more uncomfortable than doing it on the kitchen table or countertop.

Just be careful when typing... there was a big hoo-ha a while back about someone opening an account with the name "Exchange Streeter" and scamming a bunch of L$ before the account was removed by LL.

Wow, everyone has been ultra chatty today. Read it all, too much to even respond to so I'll say say you're all fabulous, fascinating, take great photos, lead interesting lives, love those boots, awww that was sweet, and thanks for all the fish :D

Here is how my day has gone.

Had to be at work at 10am. Get out of subway around 9:40 am, with some time to grab breakfast at Starbucks. As I'm sitting there, check cell phone for messages. Find one from current office manager saying "don't bother coming in, my computer has develped a "hellacious" computer virus - don't know when it will be fixed". Then I noticed she attempted to call while I was in the subway.

I'm in the freaking city sitting across from the office! Cost me $20 buck to get there (let alone the $6 for breakfast :p )

I call her. Sincere apologies, blah blah blah, doesn't know when it will be fixed, so sorry but she just got there or would have called sooner. You'd think she would say come on up and I'll find something for you to do since you're here. Nope.

So, I went to the Greenmarket at Union Square, bought lots of fresh veggies, more herbs to plant on the deck, and a challah bread to make french toast for breakfast tomorrow. Headed back to Penn Station for home.

BTW, I did NOT see any men's weiners :p Or any weiners for that matter. I did see about 20 gorgeous firemen at Penn Station, however, as something was going on there when I arrived but they all seemed rather nonplussed, joking and left rather too soon for me to get any photos (I thought some of you may have enjoyed seeing some of NYC's finest, and they indeed, are fine looking men).

What a wasted day, and I'm wondering how many days it will take to get rid of this virus? I worked for a company for 20 years and they never developed a single virus on any computer. I'm barely there 2 weeks - and I'm positive it's due to all of her internet shopping. which she has no qualms about doing all day long, even with me sitting looking over her shoulder. I suppose this bodes well for me as far as being able to post here, but geez, what is she accessing that her computer got that screwed up that it's unuseable?

Geez....I'd make sure to have someone check that computer before you lay your hands on it. Who knows WHAT is on there??? (viruses aside)

I prefer using the inworld remote deposit specifically so I do not accidentally pay the wrong person. Rez the box at home and all is good

Well, maybe wasted in many ways, but cuz of the fresh veggies and the below, it wasn't totally wasted.

Just reporting that, according to the way I've set up viewing the forums, we've already posted 11 pages since Weston's comment about having to read 17 pages upon his return to the thread later today.

So...well done.

You are very welcome... and the feather eyelashes look AWESOME. Will you make them in different colors? Pretty please?

/me bats her plain boring eyelashes hopefully

Why thank you! So glad you liked them :) - yes I am planning some different colors- white and silver - very pristine and definitely blacks with greys and I will see what else i think of - just put out some new ones today too, three normal, casual and the first in a series of pastels (psst.. Rio!) :D I am having such a blast doing this really!

the two faces of 3Ring
The one on the right makes more of a "first impression", but I prefer the one on the left. The shadows and highlights on the face and body are softer and more realistic. I like soft. :)

I already do. I've poked around but good on it while she's not been around with her permission, so I can figure out exactly what directories everything is in (and for password permissions, etc.). What a load of personal crap she has on it. I NEVER used to keep my own personal things, or a bare minimum of them at work. Most assuredly nothing which could harm the computer (we're talking letters I'd create on Word to a doctors office for instance). Her desktop is a maze of shortcuts like I've never seen before. Scarey. I hope somebody does a good clean up of it now

OMG someone is running across my roof!

(Freaked me out at first - but I just realized I complained about it still leaking so I'm hoping it's the guy fixing it, and not someone trying to break into a skylight :D )
