Thanks. Every time I try to figure out how many jobs I've had I always lose count. I've also drawn unemployment compensation 2 or 3 times. Even back in those days the hoops they made you jump through seemed like they were designed to resign you to futility.

You have some of the super skills without which most businesses can't survive. As your old bosses are figuring out. And to have it in a specialized field - ie office managing for architects, has got to make you valuable.

@ Elora: What Kaimi said. :)

I agree. But I bet no one was too disappointed. This field of contestants were all so good I bet every one in the top 10 has been looking over proposed contracts for weeks...

betwixt you and me, i got the idea last night that he could and should totally step into Freddy Mercury's shoes. he has an incredible voice.

@3 It seems every season, something like this happens IMHO. If they are voting straight on vocals, Adam should have had it for sure. But, if they are voting for all around talent, I think Chris...he sings, plays piano, guitar, etc...

many many times the judges have mentioned that "this is a singing competition"...

I would rather suggest a sleeping draught for the kids and a few bottles of wine for the adults.
 :D

GOOD MORNING !!!

A wonderful morning it is. Heading to the airport in a bit - Canary Islands here I come. Since my internet access, and therefore forums access, will be very limited until I return late on the 29th, someone keep good notes on the important happenings so that you can update me.

I'll have a few drinks for each of you.
:D

Have a great time, Lil!! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

And yes, please do have an umbrella drink for me. :)

Thanks, all, for the sympathies. I just got home (left work early; feel like utter crap) and am about to put my head down for a few more hours of sleep.

I can't even blame it on that, because I don't smoke IRL. Anything and everything sets off the asthma, from pollen to secondhand cigarette smoke, to walking through a cloud of perfume/aftershave left in the wake of someone who over-doused themselves that morning. But this past week or so has been bloody awful :(

/me tosses another pic out there, and is pouting almost as much IRL as he is in said pic.

And now (said Zebedee) it's time for bed.

/me sets up the humidifier in Skell's bedroom

Excellent pic, btw. :)

Good thing. Quoting yourself in a signature is so gauche!
