Good morning everyone! Best wished to Xerxes and Bec! I wish RL wasn't keeping me from being there, but I'll log on tonight and send you both my congratulations in-world.

I was trying to figure out where Xerxes gets his XPOD's and I found this:

LOL, awesome! I used to hate it when they crawled out of the shower drain and onto my foot. You know what I miss the most? The smell of the desert at dawn and the murmuring of the mourning doves.

I hate that too. People think scorpions are desert creatures only, but we have our fair share here in Florida too. Living out in the county, our woods are swarming with them, they love to hide under fallen logs and other similar places. They constantly get in our house, nearly year 'round. I had to kill one on my kitchen floor just the other day.

I"m a lucky 'Zonie, though ... among the many residents of "my property" is a 6-ft-ish gopher snake. :)

Quite pretty, harmless to me & my pups, and he keeps the rattlers away!

We've only had one Diamondback on the patio in the 5 years we've lived in our current house.

In all my 25 years of living in AZ I only saw 3 Gila Monsters. :( I can proudly say that I've been bitten by a rattlesnake, black widow, and kissing bug. Somehow I missed getting stung by a scorpion.
