I also won't make age discrimination comments. It's easy to do and it's not fair to any of you. I wouldn't want it if I was older. I will make several of these apologies over the next little while so you can see I am serious.
Now I can't promise I will type free of errors. And sometimes my mistakes will creep in but I will do my best to make it easier to read me. I am not being sarcastic. I mean what I type. That way we can make our peace. Jig Chippewa."

Any gray creeping in is an illusion...a trick I say!

When I'm inworld, mine tends to be less tidy than here, because I'm typing off the cuff and frankly, I just can't be bothered to backtrack and fix those errors. I know darn well that whomever I'm speaking with knows what I meant, as I do you. Yes there are plenty of mistakes but I've learned to ignore those because what you have to say is worthy of reading. Sometimes you might come off a bit brash, but I enjoy that aspect of your personality. I appreciate your recognition that certain things you've said might be hurtful to some, and your willingness to try and correct that. We are all fallible now and then, and say things we regret. It's human nature. Most certainly, the age-ism is a delicate subject here, since a large majority of this group is over 40 (NOT that this is old by any definition!) and of that group, more than it's share are over 50 and then some. On the otherhand? Us "ancients" as Oryx called us (LOVE that hahaha!) do occassionally have a laugh at the younger set as well, so we're equally to blame. I can remember some vivid conversations with Claire in particular where she really took some serious ribbing from us about her lack of knowledge on the history of music. All of us need to remember that while we are a group who know each other somewhat well here, we still do not know each other extremely well, and being careful with our words isn't such a bad thing. Not that we need to make nice to each other all the time. Geez that would make for a boring Forum! I know I want everyone to have their real personality shine through here. A little fire and brimstone is worthwhile and differences of opinion are welcome, however, I bet everyone realizes in some deep place within themselves, that making fun of anyone for things which they can not change about themselves, is never a good place to go. Possibly, spelling included

A cloud showed up named "performance5 tester". It rezzed a box. then deleted it and left. Is this one of the Linden bot's? I couldn't lock on to look for a profile.
