From: Nika Talaj I know. When I saw the thread, I just couldn't help myself. But they both seem to have a sense of humor. Bad Nika! For the inhabitants of this thread only, a rl photo of Pep, before his hair went silver. Pep (who *does* have a sense of humour - and would like to point out that it is not *him* that is demanding the attention!)

From: Amaranthim Talon It cannot be just me that thinks all this is way over the top, right? I realize if Pep was really upset over it he would just AR it and same for Jig with this new thing- but seriously- what the hell kind of kindergarten is lose out there? We don't need to worry about the grids merging- maybe the kids can bring in a little maturity. I absolutely agree. I deeply regret my throwaway remark that teh woman promptly used as a focus for her attention whoring. Amara, all those pics you took are great!! (sorry SL was borked for you last night...things were still pretty nutty by the time I arrived - around 7:30 pm SLT) That one of you as a cat-girl - luminous. Noir, in spite of being imprisoned in ice, looked suitably barbaric...and gorgeous. In the Chakryn pics - who's the bunneh? And in the final pic...did you drink another beer someplace, or is that a piece of sculpture you happened upon in Chakryn??

Thank you Mo Noir went shopping in that place with the underground caverns and the little boat Steely and I had been in before- @ Hollow Earth - Under it in fact - http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hollow%20Earth/65/228/42 (That's the store) The bunneh seems to be sculpture as is the Daliesque rendering of the dancer with hearts. Just short of there, is a very disturbing heart. I couldn't bring myself to photograph - seemed very out of place for what up to them seemed a calming and tranquil grove. Perhaps Damien shot it. We were not there long so I am sure we shall return for more explorings.

We don't need to worry about the grids merging- maybe the kids can bring in a little maturity. First, please reread my post. While I did MENTION Pep and Jig and post a couple of cartoons, the thread was supposed to be a way for us to have a little fun with ALL members of the forum who happen to have a sense of humor. If I wasn't fairly sure that Pep would join in, or at least crack a smile when he saw what I had posted, I wouldn't have done it. It was a way to also call attention to the ridiculous extent to which others had taken the whole episode (NOT you, Pep... I thought you truly handled yourself well), as well as relieve a little of the tension that had escalated over the past couple of days. When I first came to these forums, I was sufficiently warned that the cliques here were fierce and difficult to navigate. What I found, however, was quite the contrary--I was welcomed into the "fold" and thought I could have a little laugh. Pardon me, Amaranthim, for stepping on your rather "adult" feet with my very "childish" toes. :: bowing out of these thread and these forums for awhile ::

I think the picture thread has been the most amusing part of it all (although you would have to check out teh - noticeably absent - woman's viewpoint) and you should note that quite a few of the frequenters of this thread have posted to it, to differing degrees of levity, or malice in some cases! Don't be put off participating now you have found the "Third Life"! Pep (and don't take things so seriously - I don't!)

It'll only be a short absence You know what's more fun than writing a blog? Running into people who go, "OMG, would you believe I'm on the Virtual Freebies website right now??!!! I met Honey!!!" lmao...yep, too fun

I always wonder when someone says they are "Warned" about this or any forum who exactly is warning them? It can't be someone who actually has been here, since most of the time the person tells us "Gee it's not bad here." And how do you exactly get into a conversation to get warned? Do you say to people "I'm thinking of checking out the SL Forum." "Oh no, don't go there! We've sent scouting parties in and they've never come back except one. And the stories they told are too horrible to repeat."

From: Brenda Connolly This thread has taken on such an Eggsistential tone. Have you heard of the restaurant chain "Eggspectations"? There's one up here in South Portland. It's quite good! From: someone Our Mission begins with a commitment to innovation and “eggcellence”. Meeting our guests’ “eggspectations” is an integral part of our everday “eggsperience”; our commitment to surpass them is what makes us “eggstraordinary”.
