*sigh* I spose so...was thinking about moving anyway....just hassle I guess. I like the land, but the previous guy was really nice about any questions. So far, I'm not impressed with the new guy. I have the party next Sunday too. I'll have to think about it.

It really is a nice place. A lot of waterways with underwater stuff. And you couldn't find a better landlord, that's for sure :)

No rush or pressure, if/when you decide to move and if you want to talk to me about it then just let me know and I am sure I can find you a spot that will make you as happy with the place you had if not more so :) I will match size/prims and price if it is at all possible for me to do so :)

OK- the traditional place to set this is Spine- when i do that it is inside my body- who made it originally, attached it to chest- not the most brilliant of decisions since an article of prim clothing seems sensible to attach it to ur chest if that's what it is supposed to be covering! So when I put on my new top, the original thing poofed- when i replaced it after a moment of OMG! I was quite bare from the waist up- so... tried to correct but it materialized inside m tummy- talk about indigestion! Wiremesh did not make it possible to re-orient and I ended up naked, hairless and a nervous wreck - :( i now have hair and different out fit but i am not thrilled i cannot wear m new creation. and trust me- it was sheer hell to line that sucker up so i really don't want to reposition it.

So Lil- what u r saying is if I attach it to m nose and then after pulling it way out- i reattach it to spine it will materialize farther out than inside me?

I will try another night though- one shock is enough for one night. Thanks.
If I am going to change the initial attach point of something, I initially leave where it wants to go but edit it way out away from the body. That way, no matter whatever new attach point I choose, it should never end up inside me. I mentioned the nose because we quite often won't already have something attached there and so it is an easy spot to work with.

*whimpers* Guess no one wants to let me in on the secert of what PleasurePlanet is all about. :(
Sorry, didn't realize that you didn't know and/or hadn't seen the original posts on it.

PleasurePlanet.net (NOT .com - and it is PleasurePLANET, not PleasureWORLD) is a new virtual world planet that, at least right now, seems a lot like SL. The have land you can buy/rent/sell, everything inworld will be user content created using prims and they have a money system. They are just getting started, but if LL insists upon turning SL into a Disneyland, I will not stay around and I think many others will leave also. This new world *might* be an option for where to go to.

ETA - nvm, it looks like maybe this got figured out.

*wavies from work*

got to love my breakfast...

microwaved bite sized cinamon rolls (mainly to just get them warm) and Mountain dew...

I was in a rush :-P
After that sugar high, you'll be in a rush for quite a while.

not really :-P

Caffeine and sugar barely affect me with my metabolism. I drink energy drinks like water most days with no twitching.

You'd fear my coffee, especially if I make it with caffeinated water

I really do want to see you all in world sometime.

I get all awkward and quiet though.. but one of these parties coming up I want to see you.

You all always make me feel so among friends. I love you all for it.
I've seen you inworld - met you briefly at the hangout once, many months back.

... Really, the onus is on your new landlord. ....
Really? Is this the norm with rentals? I always assumed it was the renter's responsibility to pay on time, just like in RL.

It is very common that rental boxes inform you when it is close to needing to pay again as a convenience.
Most people rely on an IM or email from the box to remind them.
However yes, it is your responsibility to make sure you pay up on time.

Ok - I did always assume that those little reminders I got back when I rented were just a nicety from the landlord. I never really knew how common it was as I didn't rent for more than a few months and always from the same landlord.

They are just a nicety, however there are certain things that renters will expect from a rentals and if you don't provide them then you will probably lose business to those who do. The notification is one of them.

Received this notice early this week. I have not been here yet, but thought some of you car enthusiasts might not have heard of this place and might be interested:

From now on 4 different cars are available to participate in the SEAT Driving Challenge:

- Ibiza Cupra

Given how time seems to sometimes fly by in SL and especially since rent is based on weeks rather than calendar month, the notices really really are nice. I can see definitely viewing that as a very high plus on the list of 'wants' when renting.

Precisely, and as far as I am concerned any landlord who has 40 sims and cannot be bothered to install a rental system that has such a feature (there are only one or two large scale systems anyway and they both have this feature) is not one where I would want to rent either.

He doesn't sound like a smart businessman. If there is something out there that can help ensure I get my money on time with little hassle, I'd be all over it. Sure, it's the tenant's responsibility, but taking a bit of the guesswork out is always a good thing.

Yup, totally agree, makes you wonder how some of them actually make any money.
