From: Claire Silverspar rawr...hello thready folks. I need to stop staying up all night. i just seriously overslept....I mean seriously -its mid afternoon lol. Here's some afternoon tea to keep you all going... Claire, I noticed you signed off at an rather ungodly hour. Not that I'm stalking you lol. Only because I was someplace where the DJ is from Amsterdam and he was starting to complain that we wouldn't let him leave and it was 2:30am for him and he already went past his set because he was having such a great time! I don't know if was then, or before that but I remembered seeing the thingie that said "Claire Silverspar is offline" and thought to myself "damn, that is rather late for our Claire to be awake"

From: Lindal Kidd Seconded. It's a damn shame that Fox canceled the thing after 13 episodes. The only part that bugged me was the layout of the place...some kind of gigantic solar system with a zillion inhabitable planets and moons in it. The ships were *not* FTL starships, they were all interplanetary types. The only problem is, solar systems don't work that way. But the mixture of Wild West with Chinese culture was, somehow, believable. It reminded me at times of the old Kung Fu series with David Carradine. And the characters! Wowsers. Malcolm Reynolds, hard-bitten ex-Rebel noncom and tramp spaceship captain. Wash, the wizard pilot who plays with toy dinosaurs in idle moments. Zoe, Mal's second in command, Wash's wife, and a stone killer. Inara, a Companion, and more beautiful than any SL escort. Kaylee, a sunny, fluffy airhead who's a better natural engineer than Scotty ever was. And a bunch of other wildly inventive and well-played misfits, mysteries, and mayhem-magnets. If you missed the series in its brief run, get the 5-DVD set NOW. When you're done with them, I guarantee you will run out and buy the full length movie, "Serenity". It's not as good as the series, but you'll want it anyway, just to spend some more time with some of your favorite people. but...but...what about Jayne Cobb, played by Adam Baldwin?? and his oft-used phrase..."I'll be in my bunk."

From: Vampaerus Wysznik you never had to eat some of the things my ex cooked. /me comiserates with Vampaerus. I thought my ex was the worst cook ever...until I met her mom. Holy Mother of Garbage Disposals! She tortured perfectly good food in ways that would make a Nazi war criminal cringe. I still throw up a little in my mouth when I think of the Thanksgivings to which I was subjected.

From: Elora Lunasea That's a barister with too much time on their hands. Cute tho. I thought I was a barrister with too much time on my hands. Phew. That barrista must have bought one of those "learn to draw" courses out of the back of the Reader's Digest!

From: Elora Lunasea You have your hands full Rioko. No wonder you're hugging those boots so tightly! Now I want to go out and rough up Zena and Lindal for messing them up! Happy Friday morning to everyone! First, I hug Rio and then I slowly remove all the jewels I pasted to the lovely boots. Handing them back. See, Rio? Good as new!! (Lindal had nothing whatsoever to do with the bedazzling, she just simply stole the boots...) Second, this is a warning to Elora....I have watched alot of Jackie Chan movies - so I'm ready for you, Missy... (laughing at my own joke)

From: Elora Lunasea You are Are they in Reader's Digest now? They used to be on the back of matches. Or am I dating myself? I remember them in the matchbooks, too. They are still floating around. They always wanted you to draw a picture and send it in to see if you had the talent to buy their program and become an artist. I get the feeling that anyone willing to pony up the dough for the program they were selling automatically had the talent. I always wanted to send in a picture consisting of scribbled crayon stick figures on the back of a cocktail napkin just to see if I had the "talent".

From: Maureen Boccaccio but...but...what about Jayne Cobb, played by Adam Baldwin?? and his oft-used phrase..."I'll be in my bunk." Jayne is great too, I just didn't want to do a rundown of EVERYBODY. You can find that at one of the Firefly fansites, such as http://www.browncoats.com/My favorite Jayne quote, regarding his goofy knit cap with earflaps: "I think it makes me look cunnin'". Not to mention the mysterious Shepherd Book, and the young doctor and his mentally disturbed sister (played superbly by Summer Glau).
