that IS a cute dress. congrats on the big unification thingy, and i hope you twos are very happy. i dunno about any sort of debacle, at least i don't think so.... hell, i might have been the cause of it for all i know.... so i look forward to an email or PM exlpaining. LOL From: Elora Lunasea Morning everyone. I'm out of the loop again. Home today, took a vacation day because I have a ton of personal things to do - some apartment issues which need attending to (one in particular which is quite an emergency and really turned into a time-sucker of great magnitude), searching for a new apartment for December, settling G in, other mundane tasks, etc. Plus, I've been trying not to be on the Forum/chat much at work since that whole debacle last week. I keep complaining about this Calendar shoot too because of all the problems I had with the computer this past month - I have a few shots I took, but am not pleased with them. Is anyone else done with theirs? I feel like a hamster in a cage, on their wheel right now Wonder if Raymond is around to keep me company. Anyhoo - been looking around for something to wear to the Halloween party and haven't come up with anything I like yet but put on last years outfit to take a picture since I never had one which was any good. I LOVE this dress; Fallen Black Widow. Wish the leggings were there; for some reason my inventory won't rez them If anyone has any good links to costume shops, send them my way, ok? Now for your enjoyment Elora in a cute spider dress:

From: Pserendipity Daniels I am *always* extremely careful about how I phrase my posts. Pep (But I can't be responsible for others' misinterpretations) you just made my sig line.

From: 3Ring Binder Good morning. uhhhhhh..... errrrrr.... ummmmmm..... remember that LM i dropped on you to see my fairytale stuffs?... well the landmark is no longer good. the stuff was returned to me and my time for free play is up. FD came and saw it, so you'll just have to take his opinion of it. sorry. Lol! I was just going to ask about that. I went there last night and had a nice free fall into an empty valley. No worries, although I'm sorry I missed your stuff. Let me know when and where the next chance is, ok. About aging. It's a bit like having multiple personalities. Part of real life me is still 22 and beautiful - although the beautiful part may have been an illusion even when I was 22. I often think of other people my age age being "older" and then have a mild surprise every time I catch myself in the mirror and remember that I am older too. I've always liked getting older from the point of view of continuing to survive and having people tell me I look much younger - some of which I think used to be true. In a lot of ways being older means being calmer and more comfortable.

Mo, make some coffee and find yourself a bottle of B and B. That should allow you to tough it out.

i think we should play "guess my age" with everyone who hasn't already confessed their RL age. the person being guessed upon does not have to come clean, but it'd be fun to see if our forum/inworld behaviors match our RL age.

LOL Oh it was a work related debacle. Cranky boss. Pretty sure you aren't involved unless you took a quick trip to NYC and whispered nasty nothings in his ear hehe. I can't believe you missed everything I wrote here that day. Asshat sums it up. Brenda had the best advice, might even be worth paging back just to find it . May have blown over for now, but I'm trying very hard to appear like the chipper, devoted employee; which, I am actually, but he seems to think I'm not. That's because he's an asshat. Did I mention that already? Asshat. Blah, blah, blah. etc.

THAT debacle. yes, i remember it well. boss vs boss with Elora caught in the middle. boss 2 being a major fuktard and boss 1 becoming too old to actually be da boss anymore. and Elora being mistreated all the while. did you buy any rat poison yet? it worked for Lily Tomlin.

OLD!!!! Now there's a topic for you. Here are a few random thoughts since I'm too senile to put together more than a few sentences that make sense. People are like cars. It's not the age but the mileage than counts. (oops, that doesn't bode too well for me) You have to grow old, but you don't have to grow up. (that one I can live with) I was looking forward to my midlife crisis. I was thinking a sporty convertible and a hot young gf. Instead I grew a beard and the dang thing came in grey. I don't think of myself as old, but my wallet is 29 years old. LOL This coming weekend I'm playing in the 32nd annual Waterloo Disc Golf Classic in Austin, TX. (Disc Golf is similar to regular golf but with frisbees instead of balls, in case anyone is wondering). My 1st time to play this event was the 2nd annual. I get some recognition not for my golfing skills but simply for coming back every year. (I guess that's one advantage of being "old" Ok, enough of this nonsense. Maureen, I hope you feel better soon. Lexxi, I visited the gallery night. Beautiful work. Speaking of beautiful, I think all the gals that post pictures are absolutely lovely.

From: Brenda Connolly The inner beauty stays with you forever, sweetie. I've decided I want to be like you when I grow up, although I know I'll be just crankier and more cynical as the years go by. And more politically conservative. You are chocked full of inner beauty, wit, kindness, and a good grip on reality and how challenging life can be. But yeah, you're right I started working on the inner beauty thing a long time ago when I realized that the outer beauty illusion would be hard to maintain forever. And that peace of mind is what I'm really after anyway. I am actually quite cynical but at the same time I believe in the power of goodness. And in a way the older and more experienced I get the more mysterious the universe seems to be but the more I'm able to accept things I can't control or understand. Not that I don't yell at politicians on tv.
