From: Kaimi Kyomoon It's interesting how we don't all like/feel/think the same. Aren't you the one who doesn't like chocolate? yes because it doesn't like me. therefore, i now don't like it. in revealing my unpopular opinion of my taste in music, i certainly don't begrudge anyone their opinion. in fact, i support it. i have great issues with country music in general, it simply annoys me. but most of the people i know love it, and i seem to find myself surrounded by it often. i even know some of the songs, though i don't particularly care for them. i have given up friends though, who constantly ask me to thing they enjoy that i don't, but refuse to come with me to things i enjoy that they don't. well, that and other one-sided things i suppose. that was a good example though.

Ok, so I'm dying to have another party. I just can't choose my theme. 60s retro, or lingerie/pajama party?
Votes?

From: 3Ring Binder FD..... the windows look great. i dunno what a doodle house is, but i hope you make it so i can walk through it.
I occasionally make attempts to do something different. I have trying and getting distracted to do a house for while that was entirely made with hand drawn textures. I did one a while back but it was only one small room and upstairs patio type deck. This was my first one when I was renting land from Sarah Nerd. Every thing was hand painted including gardens by me except for the water and water pipes. Remember it?

From: Claire Silverspar FD that looks fantastic! I'd happily live in a place like that. I am working on bigger version but thing is I am not sure exactly how to do everything to scale, more romantic 1950s Leave it Beaver styled modern house. It will be 30 meters long 20 meters wide and 30 meters tall and hopefully not too high prim but not sure may get up to be around 100 prims. The thing is most people don't they want houses they can texture or customize texture wise themselves? If I could figure out how to do scripts I would want a touchable texture menu with animations but not sure how to do it nor how to get the textures and space fit to scale yet still be spaceous.

That sounds fab! Lots of work, but It really does sound good. I wouldn't worry too much about people changing textures or the texture script yet. Once you've worked out the scale, you can always add more textures, and I'm sure there are scripters willing to help you out with the menu thing.

From: Claire Silverspar FD that looks fantastic! I'd happily live in a place like that. i expect Sleeping Beauty to walk out the door any second. it's fun in that fairytale kind of way. SL doesn't really have stuff like that, as everyone tries to mimic RL as closely as possible - so i hope you pursue it FD. it's very intersting, artistic and good!

Don't forget that you and Mo and I don't remember who else are respsonsible for decorating the Hangout for our Halloween party. You'll probably want to plan on doing most of that the day before the party. And I have tons of Halloween decorations in inventory if you folks want to look thru them also -- nobody should have to buy decorations for this with all the stuff freely available on the grid. And I vote for any party, but a lingerie one sure sounds interesting. ETA -- Don't put much in my opinion though as I leave next Sat for a week's vacation and won't be in SL from the 18th thru the 25th.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon Or Rapunzel in the upper window! I love fairy taley fantasy stuff like this. me too. Rapunzel would be FUN! you once asked me to share some of my art, but i don't really have any on my computer to show. but in that realm, i did start to make a 3 level fairy tale build in SL.... i'll offer you a LM so you can go see it. it's not done, and i doubt it ever will be because my time is about up there... but it was fun when i was pursuing it. Keira was very kind to lend me her land at no charge for these few months so i could play with what seems unlimited prims. the top was gonna be alice in wonderland, the center is Wiz of Oz (incomplete) and the bottom was gonna be hansel & gretel.

I really wish I could afford little over 600 usd or around 178k in L$ for rest of land in Huin and the tier I would do entire Doodle forest and village. Every thing in SL seems to be photo based there few art based type of buildings or texture work. I think it would be so cool to see entire community based on low lag builds and hand drawn images in Second Life. Is there actually any sims out there doing that? Problem is I am bit stumped right now with how to do the house but I will figure it out eventually but I couldn't imagine building and texturing entire sim at this point even if I had means to by myself. Anyone know anyone who would be low lag neighbors that has the resources to purchase little of over 45000 meters of mainland? Please send them to Huin. 3ring I would love to see your artwork even if its in prims Programs I use for specific shapes and gradients is Inkscape, the other programs I use primarily is Photoshop, thanks to Osprey and sometimes I do somethings with Paint.net or PSP 7 or 8. I sometimes hand draw things and scan it and colorize the images with my PS but most of time its just me and my mouse and few effects. For clothes I have fallen in love with flaming pear's SuperbladePro, Avpainter but I use also Photoshop. Avpainter just has helped me think better in 3D. I wish I could figure out this one program forgot name but it has this option to see prim shapes flat for texturing purposes but I couldn't figure out how to use it.

FD, even if you copied a RL photo in avpainter, it would be totally cool. a whole forest? that would ROCK! my art stuffs fell by the wayside after i exited high school and RL dictated how i spent my time. i used to be so very passionate, and now i'm just very impassive when it comes to the arts. that's why i like SL so much. a 3D art format that i can daudle around at my own snail's pace. i hope you won't let something as silly as a prim count stop you from making a mini forestland. i also would love to see a cartoonland in SL, although that takes us back to photo textures.
i'll drop you a LM to the fairybox too next time i'm inworld.
